Rushing inside a tiny hole that was formed on the red brick wall, the black red-eyes bat made his own self comfortable as his eyes were on the dark silent alley. Honestly saying, he’s not afraid. Why would he be afraid of being alone when he’s one of the powerful creatures that ever exist?

Guess what his identity is. A werewolf? He’s ten times quicker than them. An angel? He’s ten times gorgeous than them. A cyborg? He’s ten times emotionless than them. People feared him as he’s a so-called bloodsucker, the one who drinks the blood of others to stay alive.

Humans are mistaken. There’re a few who can’t control themselves and other people’s blood just to fill up their satisfaction and fortunately, the Jo’s family is not one of them. As weird as it sounds, they’re vegetarians. They ate plants to stay alive. They still need blood but the way they’ll get them inside their body is by drinking it with water, as if they’re gulping down cherry juice.

Jo Kwangmin was about to fall to a deep slumber when the sound of footsteps woke him up. His eyes flickered open and he landed them on a specific girl. She was wearing casual clothes, a hoodie and jeans. She doesn’t seem like she’s scared of taking this route though most people would avoid using this path. Her eyes didn’t showed up any expression until the sound of a glass bottle broke to little pieces was resonated over the wall.

At the same time, her steps were halted, maybe in shock, but she didn’t move to turn around. Instead, she kept her eyes to her front. He can read her eyes now and it showed a light of fear.

Well, I thought she won’t be frightened. Guess I’m wrong. He thought.

The bob black haired girl bit her bottom lip and she resumed her steps, decided to just continue her way by ignoring the mysterious sound. She was taking her fifth step when all of a sudden her back was making contact with the wall. The arm that was placed over made it harder for her to breathe. She stared at the stranger with red glowing orbs curiously while trying to believe that he’s actually wearing red contact lens and it’s not his original eyes color.

“You smell… good…” he murmured, his fingers tracing over her face very slowly.

The girl swallowed at his weird choice of words and she looked everywhere but not the stranger’s eyes. If she wants to live, she needs to do something to save herself. She noticed the red twinkles that were coming from the tiny hole and can’t help but to think “Help!”

“I wonder what you’ll taste like,” he grinned, presenting her the growing fangs between his nicely arranged teeth making her eyes rounded in alarm.

The next thing she knew, the weight was thrown off of her as a new guy appeared in the middle of nowhere. Kwangmin glanced at her for a second before diverting his eyes back at his opponent who was lying on the ground by his sudden punch. He saw the anger in his eyes but he doesn’t care and he’s not gonna falter just because the guy is older than him.

“You pick the wrong prey. She’s mine,” he softly stated but still had that firm tone.

The girl, of course, doesn’t want to be anyone’s dinner for tonight, or maybe forever, just dashed away, fleeing from the fight that was caused by her. Even if she stayed and thanked the other kind stranger, she was not guaranteed her life won’t be away since both guys seem pretty dangerous to her.

“I want to show my coolness but she’s gone like the wind,” Kwangmin heaved out a sigh. “There’s no need to give you mercy now, is it?”
