“So you’re not coming?”

“Nope. Thanks for the offer.”

“Come on Han Mira. You’re avoiding all the fun, you know that?” JB let out an exasperated sigh. “Sure it may seem like a club but no, it’s not similar to one. Though I don’t know how clubs look like honestly.”

Mira gave him a look before closing back her locker. “No, I don’t.”

“I’ll take care of you. You gotta see how cool I am-” he tried to persuade her again but failed.

“No,” she rejected flatly.

She started her step to go home and he immediately followed from behind.

“Come. On. It’ll be just an hour- no. 30 minutes? Yeah. It’ll be fun,” he said, doesn’t let her go out of his palms.

She halted, turned to face with a thin smile and immediately spat a negative respond. “No.”

“Ayyy… Do you seriously want me to carry you like a sack of rice?” he threatened making her to shoot him a glare. “No right? I wouldn’t want that either since you’re not light like a feather so let’s just obediently go.”

“Reason why I have to go?” she uttered with a daring eyebrow raised.

“Me,” he said as if it was a fact.

Mira felt that JB won’t stop convincing, not until she agreed anyway so she just left them to fate. “This is the first and last time I’m going.” She ended their discussion at that.

She saw the growing smile over his lips and cannot help but to turn soft a little.

“You promise, right? Then, I’ll wait outside your house at 4.” He grinned. “Oh yeah. One more thing, don’t wear something that screamed goody-two-shoes if you don’t want to get laugh on and also, wear dark colored clothes.”

“Will this be okay?” Mira hummed to herself and checked over her choice of clothes.

She took out her dark purple short-sleeves crop top, a shirt that JB jokingly bought her as a birthday present but she still accepted it since it’ll be a waste to throw it away, and black leggings with dark blue shorts over it.

Since JB is almost a feet taller than her, she pulled out her purple high-top sneakers so it’ll add her height a little.

“Will Jaebum nagged at this? Whatever. He told me to not wear my usual attire so this is what he’ll get,” she reached for her denim wallet and shoved it inside her pocket before going out.

“Don’t you think that you choose the wrong shirt?” JB grumble, a frown visible on his forehead.

“You kidding? My stomach is barely shown. You should worry more about my arms,” Mira snorted while flailing her arms in front of his face.

“Okay, okay. Here, wear this,” he muttered and gave his army-printed hooded jacket to her.

Mira did what he told her to and something was pulled over her head suddenly. “Don’t show your beautiful face to others too.”

JB walked away as Mira fixed back the hood over her hair, her heart moved a little at his out of the blue compliment. When she was done, she quickly tailed after him so she won’t get lost.

“Oh. Mark hyung!” Mira heard JB yelled.

She stood on her toes and saw a guy with red auburn hair looking straight at JB. Her heart went ‘Ba-Bump’ continuously when the guy’s eyes were diverted to her. With her face flushing, she pulled the hood more over her head so it’ll hide her red face.

“Hey. You’re on your way too?” JB greeted while the Mark guy nodded once.

“Well, meet Han Mira. Mira, this is Mark hyung. He graduated at our school last year,” JB introduced them to each other.

Mira glanced at him for a nanosecond before giving a fast bow and hid behind JB. Mark raised a peculiar eyebrow but he just shrugged it away. Right now, Mira was walking beside JB who became the center between his friends. She shut up all the time while JB’s the one who was talking, with Mark replying with a nod, shake or shrug.
