Jungkook glanced at his side, specifically at a particular long dark brown haired girl, before diverting his eyes back to his locker nervously. Staring at the pack of chocolate seated on top of his book inside his locker, he reached for it and closed back his small personal space.

Come on. Just show her the darn chocolate and say; “Mind going out with me?” Yeah. That should do it. He breathed in a whole lot of fresh air before letting it out in one blow.

Hiding the pack of sweet inside his pocket, he stepped forward, slowly decreasing the distance between him and the beautiful girl. Just as he was about to call her name, another voice had appeared making him to cowardly make a u-turn and stormed off towards his class.

“Eunseul!”

The said girl turned to see her right and saw an approaching guy, her brother to be exact, as he was waving her to come closer to him. She did as she was told to after closing her locker back with now a few books in her arms.

“Yes, oppa?”

Eunwoo had his eyes on his classmate, the retreating Jungkook, with a frown and looked back to his sister. “You’re cooking today, alright? I have a sudden after-school class so let’s switch for next week.”

“Again?” she pouted.

He chuckled before ruffling her hair to cheer her up. “It’s not like I can choose whether to stay back or just go home. I promise I’ll cook your favorite spicy seafood noodles next time. I’m sorry.”

After another ruffle on her hair, he waved with a soft smile and jogged back to his class. Eunseul blew her bangs as she rearranged back her hair that was caused by her brother’s playful habit.

“What should I cook for tonight?” she inquired lowly.

“Mingyu is not my boyfriend if you still got that wrong,” Zhou frowned with a sigh. “Anyway, Teacher Heo called for him so he can’t eat lunch with us.”

Zhou went first to buy her own food, leaving Eunseul behind. She scanned over the meals silently while wondering what lunch she should choose. Decided to just eat fruits, she was about to pick some apples and strawberries when a figure stood beside her. The guy glanced at her for a second before looking at the choice of buns.

Waving it away, Eunseul reached for her wanted fruits just as the guy said a simple; “Hi.”

Her hand froze and she diverted her eyes to the guy weirdly. She eyed his nametag color and knew that he’s a senior at once. Her eyes turned back to his face and surprisingly, she noticed the faint scar on his left cheek.

“Hello, sunbae-nim,” she bowed her head a little and took the fruits.

She halted from moving and brought her eyes back to him. “Can I help you?”

Before the guy could say anything more, Eunseul heard someone chided right behind her, “You’re planning to eat only that?”
