Wei sipped onto his chocolate shake while striding along the street out of boredom. Not many people are there maybe because it’s the weekdays. Adults are busy working while students are busy studying. Wei is neither of them. He’s not an adult, self-proclaimed, and he’s not a student either, self-proclaimed again.

He’s just a mere 22 year old guy who worked part-time in places he could fit in and mostly being in bars and clubs. Fortunately, he didn’t bang on every girl he landed his eyes on though he has a sweet mouth and could work his way inside a lady’s pants in a matter of 5 minutes. His grandma would curse her out of her if she knew he was working inside those kinds of place.

Out of all the advice she said, he only stick to one and that is don’t kiss anyone. She said it’s bad luck. As if our Wei would believe that but to not get deeper on his grandma’s already bad side, he swore in his family name that he won’t do that, not until his grandma give him the permission to.

And today is his lucky day. It’s finally the time where he could kiss a girl, quoted from his grandma. Wei wondered what kind of girl would make him wrapped around her finger. Cute? Funny? Cool? y? Whatever it is, he felt like he could recognize her in first glance.

“Ah. I have a new job today. How could I forget?” He sighed. “Where is that ‘Phoenix’ club again?”

“!” Wei barged out of the club and sprinted his way out of the dark alley.

“COME BACK HERE, BASTARD!”

“DAMMIT! I’M NOT THE ONE WHO GLUED MY BODY TO HER!” he roared and kicked the trash bins towards the guys who chased after him to slow them down.

Wei is in big trouble just because he exchanged a few words with this one beauty. How could he know if the girl is taken? She didn’t even wear a ring for god’s sake. And her husband just had to throw a berserk at the sight of him and her talking but she’s a little too close for his liking when they talked.

And right now, he’s on his way to save his life from being cut off his head.

Turning around the corner, he crashed onto someone and heard a pain groan coming from below him. Blinking his eyes open, he gulped at the gorgeous girl as she stared back at him.

“You’re… heavy…” she uttered, trying to push him away from her.

“Ah. Sorry,” he apologized and hurriedly stood up.

Lending his hand to her, she turned away and used the wall to help her up making him to frown. She then took out a packet of tissue from her sling bag before giving him a piece. He raised an eyebrow but didn’t take it and she held over his hand that he offered out just now.

“You’re bleeding,” she murmured and wiped the blood away gently.

Wei’s eyes softened at once. She probably didn’t want to accept his hand when she knew it’ll hurt him. Must be when I fall just now…

“JACKASS! YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN’T HIDE!”

They both jumped out of the lovely (lmao) air and faced their side. Wei cursed when the guy landed his devilish eyes on him. He’s going to be dead. The girl unconsciously stepped back and hid behind him frighteningly. He thought of an idea when he glanced at the girl behind him.

“Help me or we’re both going to die,” he whispered and she looked at him with her jaw agape. “What?!”

“Now, you have nowhere to go. Where should I start punching first? Your pretty face?”

“Wait, wait a minute. Let’s not do this in front of my girlfriend,” Wei pleaded as the girl had her eyes widened. “She hates violence and at the first sight of it could make her throw up.”

Though the girl, Junah’s her name, had no idea what this stranger was planning, she just got with the flow. “P-please d-don’t. I m-might throw up on y-you…”
