(Hey guys. It might seem like a spy-sh*t-kind-of-thing but the genre is actually fantasy-witch-like.)

“Out of all the people inside the academy…” Wooseok muttered in disbelief, squinting at the girl who was flying beside him. “It has to be you.”

The girl, Cho Jiwoo the name given, eventually scoffed before shooting her partner the deathliest glare she ever has. She doesn’t want to retort or the squabble will continue non-stop, something the nature didn’t appreciate when it’s still the night time.

They slowly descended to the ground and they tied their brooms over their backs. Jiwoo stepped towards the nearest tree, resting her hand over it while Wooseok looked around their surroundings, catching any change of aura between them.

“There are fairies in the south. Let’s go and ask them for information.” She pulled back her hand and went straight to that direction as he tailed after her from behind.

They spotted a bunch of fairies hiding behind the bushes and Jiwoo called them out, “Guys. We need help. Come on out.”

Three of them poked their heads out and floated near her. She was a little surprise to see male fairies only cause this part of forest usually full of female ones.

“Where’re the girls?” she asked, arching a questionable eyebrow.

“They’ve been kidnapped!”

“By the evil Satyr!” (Learning Time: Satyr – Half-men, half-goats who were wild and lustful)

“Please save my sister!”

The last one sounded very desperate as his eyes turned watery, probably will cry buckets the next second. Jiwoo patted his head, giving him a small smile to assure him.

“Of course we will. What’s your name?”

“Jinho. My sister’s name is Jinhee,” he murmured lowly.

Wooseok stared at Jiwoo, specifically her softening expression, as a slight smile appeared over his lips. “Don’t worry. Our mission is to catch that stupid creature and release his prisoners. We’ll be sure to find Jinhee for you.”

“T-thank you so much! We’re just little weaklings fairy… We can’t do that much damage since Satyr is ten times bigger than us… If you need any help, we’ll do our best to help!” Jinho did cried rivers and he shook Wooseok’s hand which is the same size as him.

“Well, just tell us where his place is and we’ll do the rest,” Wooseok shrugged.

“Changgu knows!” The other fairy rose his hand up. “Big meanie always goes to this one huuuggggeeeee water place an hour away from here! Changgu saw him walk through the swishing downwards water!”

The last one named Hui finally spoke up, “Changgu was talking about a waterfall. Satyr went through the water and there’s probably a cave beyond it. The water current was so strong and maybe that’s why his scent easily disappears.”

“There’s a freaking waterfall here?” Jiwoo frowned and turned to face Wooseok. “I don’t really feel anything. Do you?”

“Nope, but I sense a really powerful magic. The Satyr must be using a high-rank barrier or some kind of camouflage to hide it. Fairies have keen eyes so they probably looked through it but since they’re not strong enough, they can’t do anything,” Wooseok explained, patting over Jinho’s head using his finger.

“Show us the way fellas,” Wooseok nodded, his hand pulling over his broom as it slowly shifted to a scythe. “We’re going to have goat meat to celebrate our victory tonight.”

“No. We’re gonna get C for that.” Jiwoo successfully put out the fire of determination from Wooseok as the guy blew his bangs irritably.

“It’s there,” Hui informed.

Jiwoo and Wooseok stared at their front, seeing no sign of water except trees, branches, barks and… trees. Jiwoo then tried to poke the invisible shield and yelped upon feeling a zap throughout her body.

“Damn that’s a great magic he put right there,” she cursed, blowing air to her fingertip.

Wooseok wordlessly handed Jiwoo a ball of healing water and he said some magic spell, palm brushing over his blade before cutting a small part of his finger. He let his blood dripped over his weapon, writing words that only sorcerer and witches understood before slashing it over the air.

A small part of the shield opened up and he urged them to go through fast. After they went inside, the hole behind them closed up, blocking their only exit. Wooseok wanted to cough but froze when he felt someone holding his hand.
