“I’ll be your slave for a month!”

“Just, why?”

“For 2 months!”

“I mean, why?!”

“Goddammit fine! A whole year!”

Haneul’s glare was diverted from her innocent iPhone to her almost-1-year-gap older brother who was giving her a pleading expression. She huffed, her bangs moving by the exasperated air that she angrily blew over. Turning her body to the side to face her loving older brother, she plastered a scary smile before slamming her pillow over his head.

“Why exactly did you drag me into your petty bet?” she growled, kept hitting him out of frustration.

“G-give me mercy! I didn’t think I would lose to him, Haneul-yah!” he begged, trying to steal the weapon out of his sister’s grasp but failed.

“Did you think I’m some kind of payment, huh? Huh?!” she hissed.

“Hey! Whatever it is, I’m still older than you so show me some respect!”

At that, she halted her action and pitched the pillow away from her. Her shoulders were moving, still showing how angry she is and he immediately gets on his knees.

“I know that it’ll be hard for you but let’s just endure this for a month, alright?” he meekly said.

“Easy for you to say,” she shot her brother a murderous glare. “Get ready, Kim Donghyuk. Your life as my slave won’t be as easy as the words that were coming out of your mouth just now.”

B.I and Haneul walked side by side as the silence enveloped them both. Donghyuk didn’t say that she has to pretend outside the school area so she had no thought of doing it.

“I didn’t think you would oblige.”

She looked at him with a frown before the realization hits her. “Donghyuk offered being a slave so how could I say ‘No’ to minion Donghyuk?”

“You sure are heartless,” he said in amused.

“He started it,” she shrugged. “Why do you want me to be your girlfriend anyway?”

“Two can play the game, I guess,” he chuckled.

Though Haneul had no idea what B.I meant, she only waved it away and wished for the month to end fast.

“For your information, it does,” he grinned and she could tell it was faked.

B.I had slung an arm around Haneul’s neck before pulling her closer, trying to make it more believable that they are dating. As they expected, all eyes were on them when they stepped inside the cafeteria, including the only person B.I wanted to show that he’s doing absolutely fine after his breakup with her.

Haneul had brought a lunchbox like always and she plopped down on her usual seat, right beside Donghyuk. Her brother had his jaw agape while his eyes were on his friend’s arm which was placed over his sister’s shoulder. His other friend, Koo Junhoe, only stared at the new couple silently.

“Just eat-”

“Babe, aren’t you going to feed me?”

Haneul’s word that was directed to her brother was drowned by B.I’s ridiculous request and also his cringing pet name that he choose for her. She turned to him with knitted eyebrows and she almost laugh at his innocent face. He’s doing that face on purpose and it’s very amusing to see B.I with it.

She smiled, pressuring herself to not even chuckle, before picking a piece of egg roll from her meal. “Say ‘Ah’~”

Donghyuk’s food was stuck in his throat making Haneul to elbow him, telling him to zip it.

“Ah~” Surprisingly, B.I did it. Obediently.

“You eat so well,” she cooed.
