Jeonghan followed Jihye using his eyes as she paced around the living room with a rolled up note inside her hand. She mumbled out incoherent words that he can’t seem to understand even though the atmosphere was so silent that the sound he could hear was only the swinging of the ceiling fan.

The sound of the kettle boiling appeared out of nowhere and she went towards the kitchen. He followed after her, this time literally, and he saw she was reaching to a small packet of 3-in-1 coffee making him to roll his eyes. Before she could make another mug of coffee for a week straight, he snatched the packet away and threw it inside the bin with a huff.

Her eyes rounded in shock and she blinked at him who was glaring at her in dead silence. “What? Why did you throw it away?”

“You need a chill pill.” He grumbled with a glare that never left his eyes.

“Whut?” Jihye snorted in amused and when she wanted to reach for another one, Jeonghan swiftly moved in front of her. “Your final projects are 2 weeks away, babe. I know that you’re a perfectionist but can you please stop memorizing those piano sheets?”

Jihye shut for a while but then she blurted out. “No.”

Trying to continue making her drink that will make her awake the whole night, Jeonghan blocked her way with his hug and she squirmed inside his embrace uneasily. “Yoon Jeonghan!”

“I heard that a hug can distress someone but it seems like you’re in more stress.” He muttered out with a shake of his head. “It’s because it’s you I’m hugging.”

“Isn’t it supposed to be more effective since I’m your boyfriend and all?” He began to question what he read over the internet this morning whether it’s true or not.

“Uh… Hate to break your bubbles but no. You’re making me more worried.” She muttered out while facing upwards to look at his pretty face.

“Let’s do another thing. Bake or cook? You pick.”

“Or.” Jeonghan shot her a look as she giggled playfully. “You know that I never touched the things at the kitchen that will make food so why would you ask that?”

He heaved out a low sigh when it was the truth. She never really cared about cooking since her personal maid would sometimes come and cook for her a decent meal other than cleaning her apartment. Of course her parents knew about Jeonghan and they approved him the second they saw him. Except the hair but Jihye loves him with long hair more so he had no intention to cut them sooner. Or maybe forever.

“One more thing we can do.” He let out a soft smile as she tilted her head to the side weirdly. “What?”

“Change your clothes and we can go out.” Pushing her towards her room, he nodded once before closing the door, giving her some space.
