“Rain-yah… I’m bored…”

10:46 a.m.

“Park Rain…”

10:46:30 a.m.

“Rain, In, In, In, In, In-”

“Cut it out, I.M!” Rain let out an annoyed shout and she wanted to kick the said guy away from her but her tiny legs halted her action.

I.M let out an exhausted sigh before breathing in a lot of air. The next thing Rain knew, she wanted to pitch a huge vase in the guy’s face so he would shut the hell up.

“I LIKE SKY~! I LIKE SUN~! I LIKE CLOUD~! I LIKE RAIN~! I LIKE RAINBOW~! I LIKE-”

“OKAY, FINE! WE’RE GOING OUT, ALRIGHT?! SATISFIED?!” she growled, slamming all her book closed and huffed angrily at the boy.

Out of happiness, I.M shifted to his wolf form, his tongue was out as his tail swinging uncontrollably, and skipped around his master’s room though it was too small for his huge appearance. Rain was this near to blow up when I.M’s tail kept slapping her body everywhere but when she saw his happy expression, she grew softened at once.

It’s been a while since I.M went out under the daylight to get photosynthesis though it was not required for him to get it. Rain kind of locked him in her room since it’ll be dangerous for him to go out. One, enemies everywhere. Two, she’s in danger if his nemesis knew she’s his master. Three, all his pack members went separate ways while fleeing from their number one foe, that is the hyenas.

It’s been 7 months since he last gone out, the time when he last saw his family. Though he knew it was dangerous, he wanted to get some fresh air. He had been begging for days now but this is the golden time where she agreed with his pleads. She didn’t mind if he wanted to walk around the street but he doesn’t want to. He wanted to shift forms and exercise around the mountain that was an hour away from her house.

“We’re here!” I.M happily jumped and when he landed on the ground, his appearance had changed.

He nodded towards the trees, asking Rain to climb up with him and she gladly obliged. Reading books only could give her some headaches that she really didn’t appreciate. He was slowly walking beside her as his head whipped around his surroundings in amazement. It’s not a new fact that he really likes nature.

“It’s beautiful,” she murmured.

He nodded as a reply and chased after a butterfly upon seeing one flying right beside his master’s face. She kept her eyes on him as he stared at the animal with ‘fascinating’ radiated out of his eyes. Rain shook her head as a chuckle escaped her lips. Sometimes she wondered if he is indeed a wolf when all she could see is an innocent-looking dog.

I.M caught her gaze and he sprint her way quickly. Rain finally gets what he was doing but she was slow to react as he suddenly tackled her over the ground. Letting out a groan, she was about to chided him when she felt something wet all over her face.

“I.M, stop. Yah- Eww! Your saliva- Hey!” she whined.

“That’s it! SIT!” she yelped and he immediately froze.

“Move, NOW,” she continued.

He obediently did her command as she sat down, rearranging back her ridiculous hair. She shot him a glare and he let out a wolfish grin.

“Go and play. You can come back whenever you want,” she exclaimed making his eyes to light up.

“But!” she interrupted making him to frown.

“You won’t get to go out for 5 months after this so enjoy it while it lasts.”

I.M growled as a disapproving manner while Rain gave him a blank look, doesn’t feel scared at all.

“If you have a problem with that, I can just leave you here and don’t ever come back.”

At that he whimpered.

“Be a good boy and play your heart out. I’m just going to rest here,” she announced, kicking away the dead leaves from under the tree and plopped down at her spot.

I.M remembered the surroundings for a few second before leaving Rain alone there.
