“This game is so frightening… How could the Runningman sunbae-nims do this game every week?” Gayeon spoke up as her eyes scanned around the silent hallway with nervous eyes.

“I know, right. I can’t help but to feel scared too. It’s more nerve-wracking than having my debut stage,” Wonwoo replied with a nod as they jogged their way towards a nearby room.

Wonwoo and Gayeon went inside the store as they searched high and low for the R sticker. They had to move together though because they have this paper bracelet that connected them with each other. For a heads up, they became a couple at the final round through ballot.

Of course, they didn’t see that coming but what choices do they have? None. They’re so thankful that they’re the same age and debuted at the same day so they’re comfortable enough to call each other names without much formality. The both of them were the only guest today to promote their new song and unfortunately (fortunately?) they are stuck together.

“Is it supposed to be here?” he blurted out.

“I don’t know. Just look around. Why does it seem so easy when I watch it at the television?” she shook her head with a huff, slowly getting impatient because of the game.

The VJ in charge seems amused at their fidgety behavior and he can’t help but to think the rookie idols were very cute together. He wondered whether they’re actually a couple in real life or not.

“I don’t think it’ll be this scary if the hunter wasn’t Kim Jongkook sunbae-nim…” Wonwoo blew his bangs while looking below the desk.

Gayeon was about to agree when a low husky voice appeared out of the blue. “Did anyone call me?”

“Mom!” Gayeon shrieked.

“S-Sunbae-nim!” Wonwoo stammered.

It seems like they were too absorb in their own world searching for the R sticker clues to hear the bell ringing. Wonwoo moved fast by immediately pulling Gayeon from Jongkook and hid their holding hands that were supposed to have the bracelet behind him though his life just decreased 10 years a moment ago.

“Sunbae-nim, don’t be like this. I’m your fan!” Wonwoo beamed anxiously when Jungkook stepped closer to him. “And it’s also my second appearance… I want to survive for once.”

Jongkook let out a laugh at Wonwoo’s usage of word. Instead of saying ‘Win’, he used the word ‘Survive’. Is it because Runningman is like a Serengeti? It’s so funny to see people chickened out at his appearance.

“Do you know what you guys looks like right now?” Jongkook chuckled when he saw Wonwoo who was shielding Gayeon behind him.

“What?” The rookies muttered together with innocent expressions.

“A Hamster couple. You guys were frightened by me but managed to still look like innocent kids.” At that they both blushed making the VJs to chuckle.

“Kim Jongkook sunbae-nim…” Gayeon whined embarrassedly.

“I’m sorry Wonwoo, Gaeul-ah. I have to win this,” Jongkook apologized and he cornered them easily with his built and experience.

“No!” Gayeon stuck to Wonwoo’s back like glue and he tried his hardest to block the Sparta’s hands from tugging onto their life.

“Wah! This kid is not a joke. He’s pretty strong even though he blocked me with just a hand.” Jongkook laughed, unbelievable at Wonwoo’s strength while he was trying to ‘Out’ them. “But this must end here. I’m sorry.”

“No, no, no!” Gayeon yelped and their bracelet was torn in a split second.

“I’m sorry Wonwoo, Gaeul,” Jongkook hummed before patting their heads to comfort them and went to hunt the other Runningman members.

“Runningman is not a joke…” Gayeon shook her head in disbelieve and Wonwoo pulled her up to a stand since she kind of fell down during the fight. “Yeah, but it is fun.”

“I agree,” she giggled happily.
