“Yes, who is it?” Soyeon blinked at the tall dark brown long haired girl in front of her.

“Hello. This is Seon Yein’s house, am I right?” The girl asked politely as Soyeon was still dumbstruck because there is a freaking cute girl looking for her cold step-brother.

The world is ending. That’s final.                                                               

“H-Huh? Y-Yeah, he lives here but who…?” Soyeon frowned while scratching her nape curiously.

“Ah. Sorry for not introducing myself first. I’m--”

“Yuna. You’re early.” Sunyoul appeared out of nowhere and he nudged Soyeon away from blocking his view making her to scoff in disbelief.

“Yah. How dare you--” Soyeon was about to rip his hair off when he shot her a look before nodding at the guest in front of them.

As if she finally realized there’s someone other than them, she turned to smile at the girl. “Sorry about that. I’m Seon Soyeon. This bastard’s sibling. Nice to meet you.”

Sunyoul felt his eyebrow twitched and Soyeon ran away before he could lash his anger out on her. Soyeon who escaped to her room heard the door to her brother’s room being opened while he and the girl talked about things that she can’t seem to hear.

When the door closed, the chatter fell silent and Soyeon thought hard to the reason that girl was acquaintance with his brother. She glued her ear to the wall to at least hear some of their conversation but she couldn’t hear anything.

“Damn this.”

Soyeon felt beyond bored since her parents had gone out on a date leaving her and Sunyoul alone inside the house. This is the weekend and she could hang out with Dahyun but she’s busy practicing for her archery competition that’s just around the corner.

“Thirsty…” Soyeon groaned and she pushed herself up to get some water at the kitchen.

Just as she went out of her room, Sunyoul went inside his with a tray that has two mugs of water, what type, Soyeon didn’t catch it, and a plate of butter cookies. Her eyebrows knitted when he completely shut his door, not leaving any space for someone to peek inside.

It’s not like I’m snooping on what they’re doing… She rolled her eyes and skipped downstairs.

Soyeon was now drinking a mug of hot chocolate with her baked cookies as her eyes were stuck on her phone for anything interesting. She scrolled down her twitter until her eyes stopped on her friend’s post.

“Why would a guy invite a girl to his house?” She questioned, her mind is asking the same thing.

Looking over the answer to his tweet, her eyes widened at one particular answer.

‘Maybe to do a school project?’

‘^^^ Biology project. Keke.’

‘The ‘S’ word, of course.’

‘You guys are as hell…’

“What? ? No way… In broad daylight???” Soyeon almost shriek in disgust and she logged out of her account in record time. “I need to pee… This whole thing is making me dizzy…”

She rubbed her temples while making her way to the toilet at the second floor, deciding to just sleep after that. Pushing open the door, her eyes bulged out when she saw Sunyoul shirtless right in front of her.

“W-WHAT THE--?! P-PUT ON S-SOMETHING!” Soyeon screamed embarrassedly and she spun around, trying not to drool and tried to shove away the image of Sunyoul’s upper body from her brain.

“Ever heard of something called ‘knock’?” Sunyoul snorted at her shyness.

“You didn’t lock it first!” She refuted back with her face still burying in her palms.

He ignored her and looked around, only to let a growl left his lips. “Stuyeon.”

“What? Are you done yet?”

Her heart thumped madly as if she just finished a marathon when she felt Sunyoul’s breath right beside her ear and also his chest that made contact with her back. “Go get my shirt in my room.”

“W-What…?” Dizziness suddenly took over her mind and she can’t think of what he just said to her.

He was beyond amused at her sudden change and a smirk crawled its way to his lips making him wanted to pull her leg more. “Or do you want to do something else?”

Soyeon almost melted at his deep husky voice but she mentally slapped herself to get her mind right. “No thanks.” She flatly declined.

Sunyoul watched her face and he snorted upon seeing it turned red. “Cute.” He unconsciously mumbled out the word.
