Hyunae took her ‘Rose’ shampoo and turned it upside down before squeezing the bottle for any liquid but she frowned when nothing came out. Looking around the bathroom for anything to wash her hair, she spotted another shampoo bottle that her sister gave her last week.

She didn’t use them since her shampoo isn’t empty yet but right now, she seems like she have to. Taking it from the sink, she squeezed it out and washed her hair like usual.

“I like the fragrance.” She smiled to herself before rinsing her long shiny black hair.

After she was done, she wore her shirt and shorts, getting ready to go out. Even though it’s 8 p.m. right now, it’s the only time she can meet him. She lived alone inside her small apartment since her sister moved out a year ago. Her sister worked abroad and she came home at least 3 months once.

When she came back, she always brought things for her little sister’s supplies although she doesn’t have to. At first, Hyunae felt lonely being inside the house all alone but ever since she met with someone, she didn’t felt that lone atmosphere anymore since he has occupied her mind all the time.

Stepping towards the forest at the back of her old high school, Hyunae hiked up the mountain silently. The night time doesn’t scare her, at least not when she’s stepped inside the dark forest. Although it seems eerie and dangerous, she knew that beyond the thick trees, there lies another mysterious creature and that creature devoted its life to save her whenever she’s in danger.

Vernon stopped running across the forest when another scent flowed inside his nose. His tail wagged side to the side happily as he decided to follow the mouth-watering smell. His steps froze when he remembered about his one and only mate.

No no no! I can’t go crazy over another smell if it’s not Hyunae’s! Vernon eyes widened as his ears moved downwards, feeling guilty if he betrayed his mate just for another smell.

Vernon, inside his wolf form, paced across the area and he was this near to bash his head over the tree trunk to get his mind right when a snap of a branch made his instinct grew alert.
