“Noona. Do you know that my hyung is a basketball player?”

Mingi thought for a while and nodded once when she recalled back. She knew that he and his friends were the school’s basketball player team. He’s not the team’s captain but he’s good with it and now Mingi finally knew why girls love to crowd around the gym. Handsome guys that were bathed in sweats are so damn attractive, well, in Mingi’s way that is.

“Can you bring me to one of his match?” Hyunho pleaded while pulling onto her sleeve.

Mingi was this near to let go of her waffle from her hand upon seeing the poor boy’s puppy eyes. Those eyes are going to be the reason for her to fly to heaven. She bit her bottom lip to prevent herself from squealing and heaved out a long, long sigh.

“Okay. I’ll try.” She hummed with a smile and the boy happily hugged her.

The problem now, I have to talk with him about this tomorrow. I really hope he’ll let Hyunho comes with me. Mingi patted his back comfortingly and Hyunho never felt this kind of warmth before.

Peeking inside the gym, Mingi frowned when it was as empty as a blank paper. Scratching her cheek, she thought of where Hwanhee could be right now.

“Did I clean the class so slowly that they already finished their practice?” Mingi muttered out as her feet took her everywhere she could go.

Her steps stopped when she arrived near the guy’s locker room. Thinking that he was still inside by the way guys were chatting so loudly, she decided to wait for him. One by one, the basketball team players went out and they glanced at her along the way before laughing with each other for checking a second year student out.

Mingi ignored them since she’s not interested in boys much. Hwanhee finally came out with two of his best friends and she straightened up from leaning onto the wall.

“Lee Hwanhee.”

Hwanhee’s mouth was locked tight when he heard her soft voice. Gyujin and Xiao stared at Mingi and at Hwanhee before turning back to the girl in confusion.

“O… kay… I guess… we’ll see you tomorrow then…” Gyujin spoke up between the silence and he dragged the still curious Xiao with him, leaving Hwanhee and Mingi behind.

“Why are you here.” He was asking her but the tone of his voice didn’t sound like it one bit.

“Uhh… When… is your next… match?” She murmured but was avoiding his eyes altogether.

“Just around the cor… Why are you asking me that?” He was about to reply when he felt a little suspicious at her fidgety behavior.

“H-Huh? Ah… Just… wanna cheer for you…?” Answering with an unsure tone, she shrugged with an awkward smile.

He eyed her, didn’t believe the words that were coming out of just now and she squeaked out the truth under his glare. “I was gonna bring Hyunho with me to your match!”
