“Mini are you done yet?”

Yuta poked his head inside the room, his tone sounded pretty impatient. Minyoung immediately reach for her sling bag on their bed before running her fingers over her hair. She doesn’t want her boyfriend to wait long so she stood in front of him with a grin. “Done.”

“Let’s go then,” he said and walked first.

She did a final look at the mirror and arranged her bangs but when it didn’t work, she decided to ignore it. One thing she doesn’t really prefer about Yuta is he cannot wait. He didn’t even say anything about going out during the weekend and here she is, racing against time to get ready in 10 minutes. The least he could do is wait for another minute for her to comb her hair but no.

Being the kind Minyoung, she has no complaint regarding the matter even if it bugged her sometimes. I mean, she barely dressed up but she wants to do it for him a little bit. It’s saddening he doesn’t really notice her discomfort about it. Not his fault for being oblivious about it is what her inner thought voiced out.

“Kim Minyoung!” he shouted and she practically dashed towards the front door. “Coming!”

Yuta halted in front of a shop suddenly and Minyoung hummed questioningly. “What’s wrong?”

“I feel like renting some CDs,” he said. “What do you wanna watch?”

When she felt his eyes on her, she blinked innocently. “Whichever is fine except .”

The way she said that is so forward making him to chuckle at her innocennce. Minyoung swore, Yuta never really sees her as a woman. He always picks on her and they rarely did any skinship. An example right now is they didn’t hold hands while walking around the street which hurts her sometimes.

Well, it is probably cause it’s Summer and Yuta doesn’t like to get sweaty. Minyoung is lying to herself everyone. He doesn’t mind getting sweaty while playing soccer but it’s just so she could comfort herself.

They stepped inside the shop and almost at once, the good-looking cashier greet them. “Welcome to Neo Rental. What can I help you with?”

Minyoung noticed his stare on her and she replied him a slight bow along with a smile. Yuta was long gone towards one part of the store and before she could search for him particularly at the action section, the guy got her attention again.

“We have a new set of romcom movies if you are interested. I can show you a few,” he inquired as she was quite shocked by the continuous chat.

This guy really knows how to talk to a customer plus that kind of feature. A lot of people must come here just for him. “Oh thank you but-”

“I’m renting these, if you don’t mind me butting in.”

Yuta appeared out of nowhere and he placed his picks on the counter, arching an eyebrow to the other guy. His girlfriend probably didn’t notice the pissed off look he was giving to the worker as her eyes zoomed towards the movies he had gotten by himself. Without her consent.

“Why are you getting all horror stuffs? I thought u liked action.” Minyoung scowled.

Her face instantly fell when he ignored her. From what she recall, she hadn’t done anything to make him angry so why is he being like this. Another thing she dislike about him is he will ignore her existence when he is not satisfied about something. He went out with her tailing after him silently.

“Do you want to eat dinner?” Minyoung asked.

Turning to Yuta who is blankly changing channels, he said nothing again for the tenth time. She tried to talk to him using whatever method she could think of but it is all fruitless. He practically did everything by his own when he is mad, leaving her awkwardly standing near, trying to patch things up. She always hoped she would one day magically read his mind to know how he feels for every single thing.

Yuta suddenly stood up, going inside their room and coming out with the rental CDs in his hand. Minyoung is sooooo ready for the horror movies marathon. You can see my sarcasm. Plush? Check. Chips? Check. Legs on the sofa? Check. Boyfriend? Not so check cause he sits at the other end of the sofa while she sits at the opposite end. She badly wants to scoot closer to him but seeing the way he didn’t care, she just solemnly hugs her medium-sized Pikachu doll that he won for her in the amusement park.
