“Me?! And her?! Seriously ssaem?!” Dino cried and Mei barked back. “Excuse you! You’re not the only one who’s unhappy about this!”

“No objections are needed especially from the selected ones. Many students would be in your shoes right now so you two should be thankful.” Mrs. Jang crossed her arms and she left her two best students alone.

“I’m doomed.” Dino face-palmed.

“Aigoo. You should just smack your face over the wall so it’ll have more effect.” Mei ‘tsk-ed’ and she slipped her bag over her shoulder before leaving the dance room.

“I’m really unfortunate.” He scowled.

“You and Mei?” The8 did a double take and he nearly choke on his orange juice at the unexpected news.

Hoshi guffawed rather loudly, ignoring the solemn look on Dino’s face. “Didn’t I say this before? Opposites attract. Poor our Dino.”

Jun, who considered Dino’s feeling, shoved his bread over Hoshi’s mouth, begging him to just shut up than making the situation worse than it really is. “Chan-ah. Look at the bright side. You get to be your grade’s representative. How’s that sound?”

Dino began to brighten a little and Hoshi just had to spread the thrown salt over his aching wound. “Yeah. With Mei.”

Jun and The8 began to throw French fries over Hoshi’s face when Dino turned down again.

Let’s just forget about her being my enemy for now. It’s just me and my unknown partner. Dino heaved out a low sigh and tapped his heart, asking it to be strong for the next 3 hours.

Dino was about to turn the knob of the dance room when a booming sound appeared from inside the room. He looked over the small window of the door and was completely mesmerized by Mei’s dance. She’s dancing free-style to the beat of the music and Dino’s eyebrows were knitted together when she suddenly stop.

“Get inside Dino. We’ve got so much to practice for.” Mei called for him.

Ah… I’m caught. Next time I should be more careful.
