It is currently 11 a.m. inside the library and it is sunny outside. Today marks the 127th day that I’ve been crushing on her. I finally found the courage to confess to her. Kim Dahyun from 3-6. I really hope it works out between us. Pray for me guys!

Following after his target using the corner of his eyes, Mark hides the bottom half of his face using a Physical Education textbook as he slowly tails the older girl, yes a senior, when she changed aisle. He’s trying to not be a creep but pretty sure all of his flashy moves for example crouching down, tip-toeing and landed his body flat over the shelf equals to 100% creeper. Not that he notices himself though.

He pushed on his brake almost immediately when he was this near to collide into her, blushes crept up his neck and ears upon the thought of their skin touching. Apparently she had waited for him to appear and her face did not look amused.

“Uh.............” he swallowed hard, something like a block of wood probably, while trying to think of something to say. Anything would be appreciated but his brain farted with I’m not ready!

He in a quick breath when he saw her lips moving. “Do you have a reason to follow me...” she squinted at his nametag and his tie colour. “Lee Minhyung junior?”

“Uh I... Uh... to Dahyun senior...” he stammered, expression trying to stay calm.

“Yes?” Dahyun arched a weird brow.

“I…” he started and before she could frown oddly and left, he quickly blurt out. “I like you.”

That made her stay on her spot and they met eyes when he lifted his gaze towards her. His eyebrows were knitted together upon spotting a smirk gracing her lips. He’s sure that’s not her usual soft smile since it didn’t make his heart race like crazy. It’s so different and it is bizarre those expressions were coming from the same person.

“What makes you think I would accept you?” she hummed, her index finger graced over his chin and it sent chills down his spine. Let me add, not the good kind of chill.

He was frozen, jittery even. This is not the same person that he falls for. Safe to say, the graceful image he made up of her inside his mind was shattered to million pieces.

“Well, your face is cute and I’m bored ever since my boyfriend ignored me for a week. Do you want to be my new toy?” she continued with misty eyes.

The nerves of this girl to step closer makes him want to punch her gut but he’s not hurting any girl. The word ‘new’ also struck him. He’s definitely not the first victim.

Before Mark could flatly decline with a few line of curses ready, the lingering touch on his chin disappeared as another figure steps in front of him. It’s as if the figure is protecting him from his hungry predator.

“What are you doing Dahyun?”

Mark’s ears recognize the girl’s low but soothing voice and he has never been so shock. Her voice is so identical to his crush who was standing opposite of them. Dahyun’s scoff flew over his ears and he directed back his focus to her.

“ off Dain. You’re poking your nose towards stuffs that are none of your business,” Dahyun hissed with a glare.

“I’m pretty sure auntie said your business is my business as well so you better get your off innocent people.” The girl whose name was Dain let out a sigh.

Dahyun can only groan and she stomped out of the library, her plan of playing with random cute boys is thrown out the window. Before Dain could tail after, her arm was gripped by someone behind her and she peeked over her shoulder.

Blinking at Mark’s curious gaze, Dain tried to get her arm back but it was fruitless. “Excuse me, I have a prey to go after so could you-”

“Are you a ninja?” His absurd question made her to scrunch her nose in peculiar and he found it adorable. “Pardon?”

“You’re like a carbon copy of Dahyun senior only that you have wavy shoulder-length black hair and the mole under your lips,” he explained and now she gets it.

“I’m her one year younger cousin who’s supposed to rescue her out of unnecessary trouble that she head-butts herself in if she wants to goddamn graduate this year. Sorry about your uh… confession,” her eyebrow twitch for a split second. “Not that she’s not a good person, she actually is but if only she has some reality senses knock into her darn brain, but you’re much better off with someone more suitable and forgive me if this hurts your pride but she already has a boyfriend that loves her to death so I prefer you back away like the good guy I think you are.”
