“Finally. Class’s over.” Hayoon let out a tired yawn as her legs brought her outside the ‘Star Tuition Class’.

Rapid footsteps were heard and she flit her eyes to her side to see her bossy school and tuition classmate with his forever emotionless face. “You’re always sleepy whenever tuition ended,” Hwayoung retorted.

The automatic glass door closed behind them and she fished out her phone, trying to drown herself in her music while making her way to the bus stop.

“Well, excuse me for being a sloth,” she grumbled and wore her earphones.

He was about to make a comeback when his phone blasted with his ringtone. Looking over the screen, he answered the call with a sigh.

“If I remember correctly, I still have an hour before my shift, boss,” he reluctantly mumbled. “Now? Fine, I’ll be right there. I smell some additional pay though.”

He ended the call and saw her staring at him silently. “If you have to go, then be my guest. I can walk home alone just fine.”

“You sure?” he asked for confirmation.

“Of course. I’m a big girl now and not the little girl that you could always pull the twin-tail hair anymore. Besides, it’s still 6 p.m. The sky hasn’t turn dark yet,” she shrugged, before letting out a smile.

“What if some guy creep over you?” he dared.

“Let’s not talk about ‘What if’ things. They might come true, according to my father,” she laughed awkwardly and waved, “See you at school next week, Lee Hwayoung.”

Hwayoung nodded once and let out an apologizing smile. “See ya, Nam Hayoon.”

He then left like she wanted to and she brought back her attention to her phone. Just as she touched on the ‘Play’ button, someone patted her shoulder slightly and she looked on her shoulder to see a hand.

Hayoon turned around with a frown and met eyes with the hand’s handsome owner. She gulped, feeling her heart skipped a beat when she saw his mesmerizing eyes, and he showed her the book he’s holding to. It displayed a map of the Seoul area making her to blink curiously. He tapped on the map as she tried to decipher what he wanted to say.

“Uhhh… You’re lost?” she guessed randomly.

The guy nodded his head once and pointed to a place that Hayoon was sure she had no info about. But one thing she has to say, her pride is huge. She wouldn’t want to embarrass herself in front of a mere stranger. So, she helped him with the intention of saving her pride. Like, why are you even a Seoul citizen when you have no idea where a certain place is?

“So, why are you here?” she broke the huge block of ice between them.

The guy flipped over a page of a magazine and he pointed to a picture of a soccer player before pointing his finger to himself.

“You play soccer?” she asked in surprise.

He nodded once, inwardly feeling proud at his own achievement.

“That’s cool. What’s your name?”

“Yuta. Nakamoto Yuta.”

“Nakamoto Yuta. That’s a Japanese name,” she uttered. “Give me that book please.”

He obediently handed her the map as she inspected the image and her surroundings. Confession time. Hayoon has no idea how to read a freaking map. Bad news. But then she saw someone she recognized inside a shop and thankfully, she could save her pride. Grasping over Yuta’s wrist, she pulled him inside with her and called for her superhero.

“Lee Hwayoung!”

The said guy turned away from wiping the tables and he looked around the café to see the one who called him just now. Hwayoung had his eyes widened when he saw Hayoon with a guy and he strode towards her in 3 big steps.

“Yah. Nam Hayoon. Why the hell are you coming in with a guy?” he snapped after tugging her with him by the arm away from the stranger to have a private conversat
