Joah scratched her cheek slowly while yawning out of sleepiness. Tapping her feet over the cement floor patiently, she waited for the elevator to arrive at her floor. When it came, she stepped inside it before pushing the ground floor button with a sigh. She looked at the number above the buttons to see the numbers descending.

The elevator made a ‘ding!’ sound as the door opened for her. Casually, she wore the hood of her shirt over her head and walked towards the nearest convenience store. Her mother had given her a night-errand so she had no choice but to obey.

“What did mom asked for just now?” Joah listed the groceries that she made a mental-note and picked the respective things.

After she’s done, she went to pay her things before sauntering back to her home. Joah saw a familiar figure in front of her and her heart thumped at the sight of him. She knew him. How lucky of her to bump to her crush out of school and even during the night.

She tailed after him with a question mark on her head since her direction and his were going the same way so it seems like their home were near each other. Jooheon’s feet were still moving and her face fell when she reached her home.

Doesn’t know why but she’s a little disappointed when he passed by her building apartment. Making a face, she stomped her way inside the building and stopped at the elevator. Pushing the ‘up’ button, she huffed and impatiently tapped her fingers over her thigh.

The elevator came and she pushed her floor while the door was slowly closing. Before it could fully close, an arm slipped in between the door making Joah shrieked in surprise. She put her hand over her heart after the sudden shock and the guy bowed in apology.

Jutting her bottom lip out, she was this close to scream again when she saw the guy’s face. The guy was Jooheon and there’re some cuts on his handsome face. Joah doesn’t know what to do when the both of them were alone in the small silent metal box.

He pushed his own floor as he leaned his body over the wall tiredly. When she recalled that she had bought something useful for him, she rummaged through her grocery bag and handed it to him with her head looking the other way.

Jooheon looked at her back with a raised brow before speaking up. “What’s this?”

“You can use it over your cuts. You seem like you need it more than I do.” She muttered out nervously and it’s a miracle she didn’t stutter when she talked to him.
