“Seungcheol?”

Seventeen members brought up their heads from boring holes at the laptop, currently watching an action-packed movie while resting after their intense dance practice. Jeonghan’s eyes lit up for a split second and he quickly covered the excitement he had with his emotionless expression. S.Coups, their leader, turned to look at Momo who had her head poked inside their own dance room.

“Momo? What are you doing out late?” He asked with an eyebrow raised.

“Come here for a sec.” She waved, asking him to come near and some of the Seventeen members had their eyes on the two people, including the curious Jeonghan.

The best friend talked for a few minutes and S.Coups clapped his hands once. “Guys, who are kind enough to help me, come with me.”

He went out with Momo and Joshua stood up before pulling the-clueless-but-thankful Jeonghan with him as Dokyeom followed right after with Hoshi. They stepped down a floor and got out of the entrance. S.Coups saw his older sister by her car and she waved her hand excitedly.

“Seungcheol-ah~”

“Noona.”

The siblings chatted with each other and Jeonghan’s eyes immediately turned towards the other girl with long brown chestnut straight hair. She was handing over the boxes of warm pizza towards Hoshi and Dokyeom as he felt a sudden nudge beside him.

Joshua nodded his head towards Momo before he walked towards her and took the snacks. The others who had their hands full went inside first and Jeonghan kept his eyes on the girl silently. When he saw that they have unloaded all the foods, he finally made his way near her.

He took one of the plastic bags of canned drinks from her hand and he makes sure that he took the heavier one for her. Feeling a little dumb-founded at his manner, Momo followed after him hurriedly with the lighter bag. The guys were howling like hungry wolves at the huge amount of meals to eat.

Quietly without anyone noticing, Jeonghan gave her some pizza and a drink before he took his. Momo let out a soft smile that made his heart thumped in a rapid pace and she thanked him happily. Honestly saying, he never really talks to her. Even though she’s S.Coups best friend for life, they rarely met and this is one of the million opportunities that Jeonghan had to grab before it flies away.

He noticed that whenever she’s around, his eyes would unconsciously find its way towards her. He found himself creepy sometimes so he would remind himself to not stare at her all the time.

It’s his first time liking someone and he’s the type that doesn’t know how to express his feelings making it worse than ever. Why is it so hard to actually say what we feel? No. Why is it so hard for me to tell my feelings to her?

Jeonghan who had his ears blocked with earphones flit his eyes towards the door of his classroom. His eyes slightly widened when he saw his crush appeared out of nowhere. Momo made his way near him and he felt excited for some reason. His balloon of happiness deflated when she walked pass by him.

“Seungcheol.”

Turning over to look at S.Coups that was seated behind him, he pulled a hair out of his friend’s head harshly so he would snap out of his dream right this instant. S.Coups yelled in pain and he quickly rubbed his head, feeling the pain struck him like lightning.

“What the actual hell, Yoon Jeonghan?!” He groaned exhaustedly while Jeonghan nodded towards Momo’s way. “Oh. Mo. Why are you here?”

“Can we talk?” She asked, her lips were upside down. “Sure.”

The best friends then left the class while Jeonghan stared at their retreating figures with a lonely sigh escaped his lips. “I wish she would want to talk to me…”

Jeonghan blinked his eyes open when the alarm clock on his nightstand began to ring its tone. Slamming a hand over to turn the clock off, he sat down on his bed and stared into space for a few minutes. He then looked over the calendar as his eyes widened upon seeing the date.

“Gotta move fast.”

His duvet was thrown to the side and he dashed fast towards the bathroom, racing over time so he won’t be late. Slipping into his shirt, he stared into space for a while. After done changing, he went to drink a glass of water and ate a toast to start his day.

As he gulped down the plain water, he suddenly had a thought. Yesterday, I promise myself to at least say a compliment to her for today. What is i
