“Smurfhwan. Teacher Tae is looking for you.” Eunju knocked her knuckles on Jinhwan’s desk and she felt her eyebrow twitched when he didn’t move.

Jinhwan is sleeping like a log so Eunju decided to wake him up in a shocking manner. Rising her leg, she kicked his desk making it to screech backwards before hitting Jinhwan’s chest hard.

“What the hell?! Yah! Pikaju!” Jinhwan was awake in a split second as he rubbed his pain chest with a frown.

Eunju shrugged before grinning widely. “You didn’t wake up when I called for you.”

He stood up from his seat and pinched her nose with a smirk for revenge. “Ahh! Yah! You Smurf!”

Jinhwan let go when it has turned red and he snickered at her clown-like nose. Eunju was fumed and she was about to hit him in the arm but he already ran out of the class. That is how they interact with each other for 2 years straight.

Bickering is their way of chatting with each other. They’re not a couple but they already have a nickname for one other. Jinhwan is Smurfhwan while Eunju is Pikaju. Jinhwan is because he’s short with the height of 165 cm. Eunju is because she’s a maniac for the yellow color and also she’s madly in love with Pikachu.

“Jinhwan!” Jinhwan heard someone called for him and he looked up from his phone.

Eunju stopped her step in front of him and she blurted out. “I need your help.”

Jinhwan raised an eyebrow weirdly but he still followed her wherever she brought him. When they’re behind the school building, Eunju waved him over and he rolled his eyes but still went near her.

“Ilhoon confessed to me.”

Jinhwan blinked at the sudden news and he looked at her with his eyes rounded. “Ilhoon… Confessed to you…?”

“Yeah. I don’t know about him much and since I’m the closest to you among his friends, I wanted to ask you about him. Is he okay? I wonder how he acts towards his friends and family. If he’s okay with them, I thought of--”

Jinhwan brought up his hands abruptly, cutting Eunju halfway and she stared at him with knitted eyebrows. “What is wrong with you? Anyway, as I was saying--”

He ignored her weird stare and dashed away with his bag fast. “Yah! Kim Jinhwan! I’m talking to you here!”
