“I feel like we’re gonna get thrown behind bars for doing this Sunhae.”

The mentioned girl was too focused on rummaging through the plastic bags in her hands to reply or even listening to her friend who was standing beside her, one of her foot impatiently tapping on the ground.

“I’m two hundred percent sure I threw the receipt in here. Oh receipt come out come out wherever you are,” the girl who was kneeling murmured out loud, hands rubbing everything inside the bag in search of a paper.

“Why are you searching for the receipt anyway, to see the total amount of money that we waste cause of our excessive shopping?” standing girl rolled her eyes, her words dripping with sarcasm.

“Sooyoung-ah… It’s never a waste if it’s for the one we love!” Sunhae said so proudly, her eyes burning with fire with one of her fist raised.

Sooyoung snorted before muttering, “Says you” while her friend continue looking for the piece of paper.

After an eternity, Sooyoung flinched from looking at her fingers in boredom upon hearing Sunhae’s loud cheer. “Found youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!”

“Fortunately,” Sooyoung added with a bored face.

“Now let’s go.” Sunhae grinned happily after shoving the long receipt inside her wallet. “Wouldn’t want to fail this before it even starts.”

“Joy,” Sooyoung hummed, tailing after Sunhae inside the huge building using the back door.

“Are you sure this is the right room, Sunhae?” Sooyoung narrowed her eyes to look inside the room from the door’s see-through glass. “Why is it so dark like I’m seeing my future, I can’t see a dust.”

Sunhae can’t help but to giggle at Sooyoung’s joke before turning over the knob to open the door. Pressing her friend to come in, she closed the door after and putting the plastic bags on the wooden floor.

“You know I hate the dark so come on and turn on the lights.”

Sunhae can feel Sooyoung poking her at her rib as her other hand was clutching onto her jacket. Sunhae pat the wall around for any switch with Sooyoung following after her closely from behind, hand not leaving her friend’s clothes.

“I can’t find it-” Sunhae hissed when Sooyoung actually grip her waist too hard that it’s painful. “That hurts! Don’t pinch my skin!”

Muttering a sorry, Sooyoung proceed to hold onto Sunhae’s jacket using both her hands.

Sunhae suddenly face-palmed at the sudden realization. “I’m such a fool. Why didn’t we use our phones?”

“My bad. I’m too scared to think of anything other than a ghost jumping out of nowhere,” Sooyoung replied in one breath, trying not to have any imagination.

Just as Sunhae was about to go back and retrieve her phone from the plastic bag she left beside the door, something similar to a pair of hands hold onto her left foot out of the blue making the owner to scream at the top of her lungs.

Sooyoung immediately screamed as if it’s a relay and she didn’t care to wait for her friend before bolting the out of there, shivers running down her spine. Didn’t see where she was going, she rammed into someone right outside the door as they fell on the floor on top of each other.

“What the actual …?”

“Holy that hur-”

Sooyoung’s sentence halted halfway when she got shoved to the side, coughing in shock at the sudden push. Holding onto her forehead at the dizziness she was experiencing, she turns to see that the stranger was rubbing his chin to ease the pain but of course, it didn’t work that way.

“Oh my gosh are you okay?”

Sooyoung finally noticed that she was not alone with the stranger that was shooting her death glares as a few other heads popped inside her view, their faces has worried all over them. One of them had offered a hand to pull her up and just when she wants to accept it, they all jumped upon hearing Sunhae’s scream.

“Mommy~~~!!!”

Yeo One whined at his girlfriend’s continuous fists that were inflicting pain on his right arm as the other boys were exchanging glances except one. Yanan’s eyes never left Sooyoung ever since she collide him from before and it’s getting really uncomfortable for her since she didn’t do it on purpose.

Right now, they were sitting on the floor in a circle, eyes looking around in amused.

“What are you even doing in the dark?” Sooyoung asked with a frown and Sunhae nodded, agreeing with her.
