The whole school already knows about I.M’s and Hayoon’s relationship status. Arranged marriage or in other words ‘marry without love’. Of course they’re not actually married yet but you know when people have big mouths. They can never stop.

“I heard she put pills inside his drink and done it when he’s unconscious.”

“He her and now she’s pregnant with his baby so he has to take the responsibility.”

He doesn’t care. She doesn’t care. Even when people were gossiping loudly about them both as if they purposely pushed the rumors to their faces, the couple-so-not-couple didn’t mind a second since it’s not true anyways.

Well, their session of get to know each other was pushed during school times too so right now they were making their way towards their class. I.M was forced by his parents to watch over his fiancée every single time. That means, go to school with each other, walk her to her class every day, eat lunch with her during recess and gone back home together.

I.M saw an incoming soccer ball towards their way and he pulled Hayoon backwards by her bag making her back to collide to his chest and she barely missed the ball right over her nose.

A boy with red auburn hair bowed apologetically when he arrived near the two. “I’m so sorry. I kicked it too hard. Please forgive me.”

“I-I’m fine.” She stuttered out and she was this near to freaking out. What if the ball slammed to her face and I.M was not fast enough to save her? She doesn’t want to imagine it anymore.

“Be careful next time.” I.M muttered out and the guy apologized again before going after the bouncing ball that was getting farther. “You alright?”

“Yeah. Just a little shock.” She heaved out a long sigh as she patted her chest to calm herself.

Hayoon and I.M were strolling around the street after school since it’s their getting to know each other session for part who-knows-how-many-times now. Their parents were really into this together and the both of them didn’t mind that much since they’ve been a little close after being forced around each other for almost 3 month.

“Where do you wanna go?” He asked a little bored and she shrugged as a respond. “Anywhere.”

After a few minutes passed, he spoke up again. “I’m bored.”

“Me too.” She replied back with a hum. “But we can’t get back until 6 p.m.”

I.M saw an incoming bike towards their way and he pulled Hayoon near him by the waist when the bike vroomed pass them. Hayoon blinked a little surprise at his skin-ship and she felt shy all of a sudden. He let go of her and yawned after that.

“I’m sleepy. Let’s just go back home.” He mumbled and started walking first.

When he didn’t hear her footstep behind him, he looked over his shoulder and called for her. “Hayoon-ah. Are you coming or not?”

“A-Ah. Yeah. Coming…” She avoided his eyes and moved near him at once.

I.M noticed the way guys were staring at her and he can’t help but to have that sting feeling stab through his heart. She is so popular among the males… Why didn’t I notice this before?
