“Ahyi!”

The said girl looked over her shoulder and she blinked upon seeing JB making his way near her.

“Yes, sunbae-nim?”

“Nothing. I thought that you’ll need a hand.” He grinned before taking a few of the books in her arms. “Girls shouldn’t lift up heavy things, you know.”

Ahyi blushed fervently when his hands made contact with her, since she’s not the type to be close to guys. They then walked towards the teacher’s office side by side. It would be a lie if she didn’t notice the eyes that were on them along the way. She almost forgot that Junior’s friends are the school’s flower boys.

“Um… Jaebum sunbae-nim… You can just give those to me and go have your recess…” She muttered uneasily but he doesn’t seem like he’ll oblige. “It’s fine. I’m not hungry anyways.”

“Have you done Mr. Kim’s assignment?” He spoke up.

“Yes, I have.”

“Then, do you mind if you explain some parts of it for me? I’m near to complete it but… Yeap. I’m stuck.” Sheepishly, he pleaded with a begging beam.

She can’t help but to let out a chuckle while nodding once. “Sure. I’ll be glad, sunbae-nim.”

Junior came out of the cafeteria with a frown decorating his forehead. His friends were so noisy that he was starting to get irritated by their hyper-activeness. Turning to his side when he heard a familiar laughter, he eyed JB who was chatting with Ahyi, feeling something stung him in the pit of his stomach.

As if on cue, Ahyi looked over her shoulder since she felt like someone was looking at her. They met eyes for a few second. Their connected gaze was interrupt and she turned back to chat with JB making Junior pretty much, hurt.

“Why don’t you come and visit during the weekend Ahyi?”

At the mention of her name, Ahyi turned towards Mrs. Park with widened eyes, clearly showing her surprise at the invitation. “I’m so sorry auntie but I promised Jaebum sunbae-nim that I’ll help him with his assignment.”

Junior swore he wanted to break the table into half at her sudden announcement if it’s not for his patience. Mr. Park felt that the things inside his house were floating by itself slightly and he flit his eyes to his son curiously, not after preventing the things from flying around them.

Holding in from bursting right there and then, he kicked his son’s leg under the table as the latter frowned at the oldest of the family. The way his father cocked an eyebrow, as if asking him what’s wrong, made him flush in embarrassment and he stood up from his seat.

“I’m done eating.” He muttered and left for his room. “That old man must have sensed it. Why do I have to inherit his damn power?”

“Let’s play some bowling!”

“Call. Losers pay for pizza.”

“Since JB hyung’s not here, let’s split to two groups.”

Before the best friends could step inside the respective game place, Junior halted, his eyes boring holes to some people in unbelievable. “What the fu-”

“Isn’t that JB?” Mark asked, his voice completely drowned Junior’s curse.

All eyes were on the two who just came out of a market with groceries in their hands. Bambam gasped, Yugyeom balked, Youngjae whistled, Jackson whooped, Mark only stared while Junior eyes rounded to its maximum size.

“OMGEEEEE!!! ARE THEY DATING?!”

“NOOOOOOOO!!! AHYI’S MINE!!!”

“Uh… Since when though?”

“You go man! JB hyung is a man!”

“JB didn’t say why he didn’t want to come too.”

At Mark’s words, the realization hits them like a bulldozer as Junior felt that he was currently curling his fists, leaving crescent marks on his palms, inside his pockets. A burning fire lit up and he never felt so furious right now. He wanted to give a flying-kick to JB for even curling a strand of her hair behind her ear.
