“Be good Jein-ah. Get along with Mingyu.” Mrs. Kang ruffled Jein’s head and she slipped inside the car.

“It’s just one night. Turn that frown upside down Kang Jein.” Mr. Kang pushed the end of his lips higher, asking her daughter to do the same since she kept frowning for hours now.

“Mingyu, mom gives her trust to you. Look after the house and Jein too okay?” Hugging her one and only son, Mrs. Kim waved them goodbye.

The car then vroomed off the street and Jein’s eyes were focused on it. Mingyu turned to go inside but when he saw that Jein was still at her last spot, he pulled the back of her shirt collar to force her inside.

“Ack! Mingyu! I can walk on my own!” Jein struggled to walk backwards and she can finally breathe when she was already inside the house. “If I die because of you, I’m going to haunt you for the rest of your life.”

Mingyu’s reply was only a roll of his eyes. He strutted towards the kitchen and opened the shelf before taking out two packets of ramen. He was about to cook himself an easy dinner when Jein blocked his way from going towards the stove.

“Move.” He demanded with narrowed eyes.

“That thing is not healthy.” She grumbled.

“I won’t cook a normal dinner for you even if you ask so make yourself comfortable using the cooking supplies and I won’t stop you.” Mingyu spat as he slipped pass her to cook his food.

“My face will be bloated tomorrow morning…” She murmured.

“Not my business.” He spat.

“I can’t cook…” She frowned.

“Not my concern.” He snapped.

“I like you…” She blurt out.

“Aish… What the hell are you saying? Are you so hungry that you lost your mind?” Mingyu accidently held the hot pot and he blew onto his finger.

Even when I tell the truth… Jein’s eyebrow twitched in anger and she called for a number on her phone as she stomped her way towards the toilet.
