“I love you.” Chanyeol said as he eyed her, waiting for her reaction.

 

Jinhee’s eyes widened as she turned to him. “Huh?” She asked. Confusion was written all over her face.

 

While Chanyeol was waiting for an answer from her, he noticed a small green insect crawling on her hair. “Don’t move.” He warned her as he leaned towards her. Slowly closing the gap between them.

 

Jinhee immediately backed away. “W-what are you doing?” She stuttered as she felt the blood rose up to her cheeks.

 

“I said don’t move!” Chanyeol demanded her as he held her shoulder with her left arm then he raised his right arm because he was about to get the insect which was on her hair.

 

*What is he trying to do?* Jinhee panicked as she closed her eyes shut. “ONE MORE MOVE AND I’LL SERIOUSLY PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!” She exclaimed.

 

Chanyeol stopped and blinked at her. “Huh? You’ll punch me? Why?” He innocently asked her. *This girl is so brutal. Earlier, she just hit my head. And now she’s going to punch me?* He thought as he chuckled.

 

Jinhee frowned at him. “You’re even asking me why?! You’re trying to kiss me!”

 

There was a small amount of silence before she heard Chanyeol’s cackling laughter fill up her ears. And that’s when she saw Chanyeol laughing all his heart out while slapping his thighs. And she thought that if they weren’t in the forest maybe he already rolled on the floor while laughing.

 

Jinhee frowned as she pouted. “W-what’s so funny?!” She asked. Her cheeks were still flushed red.

 

Chanyeol tried to stop his laughter as pointed to himself. “I’m going to kiss you?” He asked her.

 

“You aren’t?” She asked him.

 

“You want me to?” He playfully asked her.

 

Jinhee instantly shook her head. “No! That’s not what I meant! It’s because you were suddenly telling me not to---“

 

Jinhee stopped when she felt Chanyeol’s fingers brush through her hair. She turned to him. “See?! You’re always doing something that ----“

 

She suddenly stopped talking when Chanyeol showed her a green insect. Jinhee’s face contorted in disgust. It was a green stink bug. “This was crawling in your hair. I was kindly trying to remove it” Chanyeol explained. Then he eyed her. “But someone accused me of doing something bad. She even threatened me that she will punch me.” Chanyeol mumbled as he threw the bug away.

 

Jinhee bit her lip in humiliation. “Mianhe.” She mumbled as she looked away. *What was I thinking?! I’m so stupid!* Jinhee thought.

 

Chanyeol turned to her with a chuckle. “You should’ve seen your expression.” he mumbled in between his laughs.

 

“One more move and I’ll seriously punch you in the face!” He imitated her and tried to make his voice lower but he failed. His voice was too deep.

 

“You’re obviously playing around with me!” Jinhee exclaimed at him. There was a slight tone of irritation in her voice.

 

Chanyeol stopped laughing and turned to her with a serious face. “Why? Do you want it to be true?”

 

Jinhee gaped at him. *What the? Just a minute ago he was laughing and now he’s back to being serious?*

 

Chanyeol finally smiled. “I was just joking.”He grinned, showing off all his white teeth.

 

“You! You’re such a bad person! How can you do that to me?! I could almost die from heart attack!” She exclaimed as she hit him on his chest.

 

Chanyeol just smiled as he tried to dodge her attacks but he couldn’t. Finally he caught her arm. “What makes you think that I’m going to kiss you?” He asked her.

 

Chanyeol never really planned to kiss her. It wasn’t in his intentions. And he also never thought that Jinhee would think of something like that.

 

Jinhee gulped. “You.. said you love me and you’re face was near mine. So… I thought you were going to do that.” She mumbled in humiliation. “Aish. So humiliating.” She mumbled as she stomped her feet and tried to look away.

 

Chanyeol smiled as he watched her display her different expressions. *Be it flustered or whatever. She’s still beautiful.* he thought. He gently tapped her head. “Don’t worry. You’re still beautiful no matter what expression you put on.” He told her.

 

*No. Maybe he’s making fun of me again.* She thought as she eyed him. “Stop joking with me.”

 

Chanyeol blinked at her. “It’s true.” He smiled.

 

For the third time, Jinhee blushed. The first one was because she was nervous. The second was because she was humiliated. And the third one.. was because he complimented her.

 

“So.. what were you saying earlier?” She asked, avoiding his gaze.

 

“I said many things. What do you mean what?” He asked her.

 

“When you said…”

 

“What?” Chanyeol asked.

 

 “When you said ‘I love you’ “ She mumbled as she puffed her cheeks up. *Why was it so hard to say when I’m only repeating his words?!*

 

“Oh. That.” Chanyeol nodded. “It’s because you cut me off when I’m talking. I wasn’t finished yet then you just told me that you’ll punch me.”

 

“Then just say what you’re going to say!”

 

“I love you.” He repeated again.

 

Jinhee eyed him. There was a different look in his eyes. But since he was making fun of her earlier, and he’s good at faking his facial expressions, she couldn’t tell if he’s being serious or not.

 

Chanyeol immediately smiled. “Should I tell her those words?”

 

Jinhee blinked. She didn’t catch up on what he had said. “What?” She asked.

 

“I’m asking if I should tell her that I love her.”

 

Jinhee’s mouth curved into an ‘o’ as she nodded. “Ohhhhh. Now I understand.” Now she gets the picture. He was only asking her.

 

Jinhee sighed in relief as she placed her hand on her chest. “I thought it’s something else.” She mumbled to herself but Chanyeol was able to hear her.

 

“Of course you should! Tell those to her.” She said as she nodded.

 

Chanyeol pouted. “What if she rejects me? Are you going to take responsibility?” He asked her.

 

“I’ll help you with her.” Jinhee assured him as she wriggled her brows.

 

*You’d help me with you?* Chanyeol bit his lip. He can’t help but smile. “Do you think she’ll like me?” He asked her.

 

“Of course! You’re tall, handsome and smart! For sure she’ll like you!” Jinhee said as she put her thumbs up.

 

Chanyeol couldn’t help but to laugh. “That’s final okay? No taking back of words.” He warned her.

 

Even thought she couldn’t fully understand him, Jinhee just nodded with a smile.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Zelo, did you hear the news? Jinhee was missing.”  Jonghyun told  Zelo calmly.

 

“Stop joking around with me.” Zelo mumbled as he rolled his eyes.

 

Jonghyun shook his head. “It’s true. Jinhee and the transfer student was missing.”

 

*Transfer student? Chanyeol hyung?* Zelo thought as he immediately went to the teachers.

 

“Mr. Nam, is it true? Jinhee is missing?” he asked Mr. Nam worriedly.

 

Mr. Nam nodded sadly. “Park Jinhee and Park Chanyeol were not yet on their camp. But the teachers already went to search for them. Don’t worry.” He said as he tapped Zelo’s shoulder.

 

“I’ll look for her too!” He volunteered.

 

Mr. Nam shook his head. “You can’t. It’s too dangerous.”

 

“No! She’s my girlfriend! I have to find her!” Zelo exclaimed like a hard headed kid.

 

“Just go inside and we’ll tell you if we find them.” Mr. Nam said as he walked Zelo inside the room. “Miss Song, please keep an eye on Junhong.” Mr. Nam said as he pointed to Zelo who was sulking.

 

Miss Song just nodded.

 

*What happened to Jinhee? What if something bad happened? I couldn’t help but worry. But, she was with hyung. Maybe he’ll take care of her.* Zelo thought as he puffed up his cheeks.

 

“Junhong-ah~!” Sungjae called him.

 

Zelo turned to him with a glare. He’s not in the mood to joke around with him right now. “What?” He asked.

 

Not knowing that Jinhee was missing, Sungjae still went to him and showed him his phone. “I have a gift for you.”

 

Zelo eyed him. “Huh?”

 

“Look at these.” Sungjae grinned as he pointed to the photo of Jinhee and Chanyeol sitting beside each other at the bus. They were both asleep. Jinhee’s head was at Chanyeol’s shoulders. And Chanyeol’s head were on top of hers.

 

Zelo blinked twice before looking away. His heart was beating fast. But it’s not the same way like when he’s with Jinhee. It was beating too fast and it hurts. He couldn’t help but feel bad. Zelo gulped as he looked at Sungjae. “What’s this?”

 

Sungjae smiled, “My friend from class 1D, Jimin took a picture of them on the bus. I thought I’ll show it to you to make you feel good.” Sungjae grinned happily. Teasing Zelo has become his habit.

 

Zelo ignored him and stared at the picture. *How can a single picture make my heart go like this?* He thought as he sighed. “Jinhee is your girlfriend. Chanyeol is your hyung.” He told to himself.

 

“Look at him, he looks so handsome and kind. Unlike someone here. If I’m Jinhee, I’d break up with you and just go for this guy.” Sungjae teased.

 

“That’s if you’re Jinhee. But you’re not.” Zelo told him coldly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3:00 in the morning.

 

Zelo was still awake. He was waiting for updates about Jinhee and Chanyeol. He just couldn’t calm down. He couldn’t help but worry. He knew Jinhee wasn’t good with directions and she gets lost easily. And his biggest fear was, what if Jinhee was alone and Chanyeol wasn’t with her? Then she’d be scared. *I wish she’s with Hyung. I know he can take care of her.* He thought as he walked around in circles.

 

“They’re here! The students are here!” Ms. Song happily exclaimed as she pointed to the teachers who had just arrived.

 

Zelo smiled as he stood up. *That means Jinhee’s here.* He thought as he immediately rushed to see them. But as he saw them, Zelo froze on his spot. He didn’t expect what he saw.

 

Jinhee was asleep. Her left leg was injured. And what surprised him the most is that, Chanyeol carried her on his back. He knew he should be thankful because she was safe and Chanyeol even carried him. But that’s not how he feels. It was the complete opposite.

 

And at the very moment, he wants to separate his Jinhee from Chanyeol. He wants to get her from him. But he couldn’t.

 

He stood there and watched them walk away. He couldn’t even do anything. And the same feeling when he saw their picture was what he felt at that very moment. The difference was, how he felt right now is ten times stronger than what he felt before. And he hoped he never wished that she was with his brother.

 

“Junhong-ah, Jinhee’s here already. Why don’t you visit her? I heard she’s injured.” Miss Song told him, interrupting his thoughts.

 

Zelo awkwardly nodded as he bowed to her before following them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“I should thank Hyung first. Right?” Zelo asked himself before opening the door. “Yes I should.” He answered his own question with a small smile.

 

Zelo opened the door and saw something he shouldn’t have seen. He just saw Chanyeol arranging Jinhee’s stray hairs which was covering her face.

 

He slightly frowned. “What are you do---“

 

Chanyeol looked up to him. “I was just arranging her hair.” He told him with a blank face. There were no bad intentions that you can detect from his voice. He sounded innocent.

 

Zelo nodded, his eyes were glued to his feet. He doesn’t know why but, he can’t bring himself to look at Chanyeol.

 

Everything became silent. Too silent that they can even hear the silent swoosh of wind coming from the window.

 

Zelo looked at Jinhee’s sleeping figure and gulped. “She’s my girlfriend.” He mumbled as he looked at Chanyeol. “She’s Park Jinhee.”

 

Zelo didn’t know why he said that but he felt like he had to. He felt like he should let his brother know or else something will happen.

 

Chanyeol nodded. “I know.” He answered as he eyed Zelo.

 

It wasn’t just a normal stare. Zelo knew that when his brother is serious about something, he becomes like that.

 

“I have something to say.” Chanyeol told him.

 

“What is it?” Zelo asked him. His tension building up inside his chest.

 

Chanyeol was about to open his mouth to say what he wants to say but Jinhee suddenly woke up. Being a hard headed kid, she immediately tried to stand up from the bed but Chanyeol stopped her. “You need to rest.” He reminded her as he gently pushed her back to bed with a small smile.

 

Zelo blinked as he clenched his fists as tight as he could. *I should be the one doing that.*

 

Jinhee noticed Zelo standing beside her. She smiled. “Why are you here?” She asked him.

 

Zelo’s brows pinched together as he twitched. She’s asking why I’m here but she’s not even questioning why Chanyeol hyung is here. He thought. “I was worried that’s why I’m here.” He answered shortly.

 

Jinhee’s smile became even bigger upon knowing that he was worried. “I’m okay. No need to worry. Chanyeol helped me with my leg so it’s alright now. ” She said as she smiled.

 

“Oh right! Junhong-ah, this is my friend, Park Chanyeol. Chanyeol-ah, this is Choi Junhong. He’s my boyfriend.” Jinhee introduced the both of them to each other.

 

Chanyeol nodded. “We know each other. He’s my---“

 

“I want to talk to you.” Zelo interrupted Chanyeol. For some reasons, he didn’t want Jinhee to know that they’re brothers.

 

Jinhee nodded. “Okay. What is it about?”

 

Zelo eyed Chanyeol. “I want to talk to her alone.”

 

“Oh, sorry. I’ll go now.” Chanyeol said as he stood up and walked out of the room, leaving Jinhee and Junhong alone.

 

“Aren’t you too harsh on him?” Jinhee asked Zelo worriedly.

 

“That’s okay. I’m sure he.. won’t mind.”

 

“So, what did you want to talk about?” She asked. The corners of her lips were curved upwards.

 

I want to talk about the picture. Why did you sleep on his shoulder? Why were you alone with him in the forest? What happened when you’re with him? Did he do something inappropriate? I’ll forgive you for being carried by him since you’re asleep. But I hope it won’t happen again next time. And more importantly, when did you have him as a friend? You never told me that. And the two of you seems to be close. I don’t like it. Zelo thought as he eyed her. There were so many questions he wanted to ask her.

 

“You’re spacing out. Maybe you need to rest.” Jinhee told him worriedly. “Did you even sleep?”

 

*How can I sleep when I’m not sure if you’re fine or not?* Zelo shook his head. “I’m fine.”

 

“So? You’re question?”

 

“You love me right?”  Zelo asked her. His expression was unreadable.

 

Jinhee chuckled. “What kind of question is that?”

 

“I’m serious!” Zelo whined.

 

Jinhee blinked at him. *What’s with him?* She thought. “Well, who wouldn’t love you right? Everybody does.” Jinhee mumbled as she smiled.

 

Zelo shook his head. “Noooo! I don’t care if other people loves me. What I care for is you. So do you love me or not?” He asked again. There was a hint of annoyance evident in his voice. He’s irritated because Jinhee is not answering him right.

 

“I do.”

 

Zelo turned to her. “You what? Answer me in a complete sentence!” He insisted.

 

Jinhee breathed heavily. And then she turned to Zelo with a smile. “Choi Junhong, saranghae~”

 

Zelo smiled. He was very satisfied with her answer. And with just one ‘I love you’ from her, all the insecurities, all the anger, all the negative feelings that was inside him had vanished.

 

“Satisfied now?” Jinhee asked.

 

Zelo nodded. “Very.” Then he leaned towards her and kissed her forehead. “You should sleep now. I know you’re tired.” Zelo said as he arranged her blanket.

 

“What about you?” Jinhee asked as her cheeks pinked.

 

“I’ll stay here.” Zelo smiled. *I don’t want Chanyeol-hyung to come in especially when I’m not around.*

A/N:

I woke up yesterday thinking that it was Monday.  (I didn't even know that it was Tuesday.) So I promised that I'll update on Wed. But while I was writing this chapter around 1:00 this morning (I was thinking that it's Tuesday already. Since it's 1:00), when I checked the time on my laptop. I also noticed the date. And ta-dahhhh. It's Wednesday. Surprise. Suprise. lol. 

It's hard to explain but to make this short and easier to understand, I'll update this friday or maybe next week.
