Atlast, our date ended. It’s already 8 in the evening, I suppose my Dad’s at home. He should be. So that I can complain to him about how he just let Zelo go inside my room. He’s really going to get it. I thought as I stopped walking since we already reached my house.

I turned to Zelo. “I guess.. this is it. I’ll be going now.” I mumbled as I gave him a small smile.

He was just looking at me as if there’s something he wants to say. But I just shrugged it off and walked away. While I walked away, I couldn’t help but want to say thank you to him so, after taking three steps, I turned back to him. “I.. uh.. had fun today…. Thanks.” I muttered as quietly as I could. Before I could turn my back on him, he grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him.

I blinked at his sudden action. “What is it?”

He impatiently tapped his forefinger on his left cheek.

 “What is it? Do you have a wound or anything on your cheek? I asked as I leaned closer to him to examine his cheek because it’s already dark.

He pouted with a sigh. “You’re supposed to kiss me right?” He asked impatiently with his brows pinched together.

I leaned back. I couldn’t help but smile at his attitude. *Who knew Zelo could be this cute?* “Was I obliged to?” I asked as I snickered at him.

He gave me a -____- face. “Not funny Jinhee.”

I tried to suppress my laughter by biting my lower lip. I glanced back at my house. “It’s getting late. I’m going now.” I said as I turned to him.

He walked towards me and closed the gap between us and he stared right into my eyes. I quickly looked way. But I could still feel that he’s staring at me. *What the hell did I do to him for him to treat me like this?!* I screamed in my thoughts as I warily took a deep breath. Zelo cupped my face with his hands and slowly, he moved closer to me. *Is he going to kiss me? As in now? What do I do?!* I thought as I panicked and just closed my eyes tightly.

Zelo smiled as he saw Jinhee being panicky when he’s about to kiss her. *You’re so cute Jinhee.*

I felt that he suddenly leaned closer to my ear and whispered: “Since you’re tongue got burnt, I’ll let you off today.” I blushed crimson. *What the hell is he talking about?! Why is he---*

I suddenly felt Zelo’s lips landed on my lower right cheek. His lips were really close to mines. It was just a few millimeters from my lips!

THUMP… THUMP… THUMP… THUMP.. THUMP… THUMP… THUMP…

I instantly froze. Even though I couldn’t see myself, I could feel that I’m blushing madly. Zelo just kissed me. And he almost kissed me on the lips! He almost kissed me. A guy who isn’t Bang Yongguk just kissed me! What do I do? What do I tell him? Do I have to say anything? I couldn’t think straight. My mind is in a complete mess.  And all I can hear is my loud heartbeat. But on the back of my mind, I was thinking about why did he kiss me on my cheeks? I thought as I turned to him with a puzzled look.

Zelo noticed that I had a questioning look. “Were you disappointed that I didn’t kiss you on the lips?” He asked with a proud smirk while poking my nose lightly.

I slapped his hand away. “Please. I am not.” I said as naturally as I could with my poker face on. I was displaying a bored expression but inside of me, my insides were all screaming and it’s like I’m gonna explode anytime soon.

He just nodded to tease me more.

Suddenly, “Zelo, why don’t you come inside with Jinhee?” I heard my Appa exclaim.

Zelo turned to me excitedly. “I can right?!” He asked excitedly.

Before I could say yes, he dashed towards Appa to greet him.

I placed my right hand over my still rapidly beating chest. *Just what is this feeling? Could it be---*

I felt Zelo slipped his hand over my free hand. “Let’s go. It’s getting cold Jinhee.” He said with a smile.
