“Did you have everything prepared?” Zelo asked from the other line.

 

Jinhee sighed. “You’ve been asking that for the nth time.”

 

“I was just making sure that you didn’t leave anything behind.” He mumbled. Jinhee could almost imagine that he was pouting.

 

“I didn’t. I brought everything. Aren’t you busy? Shouldn’t you be supervising your classmates to your bus?” Jinhee asked.

 

It was their field trip. And Zelo was calling her for the third time. He was making sure that Jinhee didn’t forget anything since she does those all the time.

 

“No. They’re not even complete yet. Would you like to just go to our bus? You can sit beside me! I brought many snacks. It’ll be fun!” He suggested cheerfully.

 

*I wish I could.* Jinhee thought as she frowned. “We’re on different classes. That’s not possible.” Jinhee murmured.

 

“No one would know! Besides I’m the class president. They’ll obey me no matter what.” Zelo boasted off.

 

“Tch. Abuse of power.” Jinhee mumbled as she shook her head in disapproval.

 

 

 

 

 

“Jinhee, we have to go now.” Jinhee’s classmate, Minji called her.

 

 

 

 

Jinhee nodded as she smiled. “Yes. I’ll follow you guys.”

 

 

“I have to go now. I’ll call you later.” Jinhee told Zelo through the phone.

 

 

“Okay. Take care.” Zelo mumbled lazily as he ended the call.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Yah! Junhong! Aren’t we going to the bus yet? Everyone’s here already!” Sungjae whined like a baby.

 

The truth was everyone on their class is already there. They’re just waiting for Zelo’s signal since he was the President. But Zelo called Jinhee first because he wants to sit beside her on their bus. Sadly, Jinhee didn’t agree.

 

Zelo glared at Sungjae. “You!”

 

“Wae? Jinhee didn’t agree to ride our bus?” Jonghyun asked him as he handed Zelo the attendance of their class.

 

“Shut up.” Zelo mumbled in irritation as he went to the center of the room. “Okay. Fall in line outside and we’ll be going to our bus.” He told them in a bored tone.

 

And in no time, his classmates scrambled out and immediately obeyed Zelo’s instructions. They were excited for the field trip after all. Zelo was the only one who was not excited.

In Jinhee’s bus,

 

 

 

“Let me sit there!”

“Go sit somewhere else!”

“Yah! Park Sangmin, stand up and exchange seats with me!”

“Why are you sitting there? I’m supposed to sit beside Minji!”

 

It was a total mess. So the President decided to arrange it.

 

“Okay everyone, since you’re being so chaotic about the seats, let’s just seat according to our last name. Alphabetical order!” Jun, the president of the class exclaimed.

 

Complains and sighs were heard but still, they have to follow the president.

 

Jinhee walked towards her seat. It was beside Chanyeol. Since they were alphabetically arranged, she’ll be sitting beside Chanyeol.

 

*Oh right. This person hates me.* Jinhee thought as she looked away. She scanned the bus for any empty seats. There’s none. *Great. Just great.* She thought as she bit her lip.

 

Chanyeol didn’t even bother to look at her. He even plugged his earphones on his ears and looked outside the window. *He hates me that much?* Jinhee thought as she carefully sat beside him, not wanting to touch even a single fiber of his clothes or anything related to him since she knew he’d be irritated.

 

Chanyeol puffed his cheeks up as he pretended to look outside the window. His earphones are not working because he didn’t plug it on his iPod.

When he heard that they’ll be seating alphabetically, he immediately thought of how he would avoid her. And he thought he’ll listen to music. But he didn’t have the time to plug his earphones in his iPod so he just pretended to be listening to some music. *This is awkward.* Chanyeol thought as he held the tips of his earphone so that Jinhee won’t see it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zelo was pouting as he sat on his seat. Jonghyun sat beside him. And Sungjae was sitting in front of them.

 

“Why are you sulking? Is it because of Jinhee?” Jonghyun asked him as he opened a pack of snacks and offered it to Zelo.

 

He shook his head, refusing to eat. “I wanted to sit beside her.” Zelo frowned.

 

Jonghyun turned to him. “She’s in a different class.” He reminded Zelo.

 

Zelo pouted. “But I miss her.”

 

“I have an idea. Just imagine me as her.” Jonghyun grinned.

 

Zelo gave him a disgusted look.

 

“Oppa~” Jonghyun said with a straight face.

 

“Jinhee’s voice never sounded like a monkey’s. And she’s waaaaaaaaaaay more beautiful than you. And lastly, she doesn’t call me ‘Oppa’ ”

 

“She doesn’t call you ‘Oppa’? Why?” Jonghyun asked as he blinked.

 

Zelo bit his lip. “We.. don’t need those cheesy things.” He lied.

 

“Then she’ll just call you Unnie?” Sungjae butted in as he grabbed a few pieces of chips from Jonghyun’s junk food.

 

“I never offered this to you.” Jonghyun mumbled. Sungjae smiled at him. “But I’m hungry.”

 

 Sungjae gobbled up the chips before turning to Zelo. “I know why Jinhee doesn’t want to sit beside you on this bus.”

 

Zelo eyed him. “Why?”

 

“It’s because Jinhee is finally using her brain and she’s going to a guy who’s far more better than our Junhongie.” Sungjae grinned happily.

 

Zelo turned to him with a glare. “You want to die?” Zelo asked as he kicked Sungjae’s seat causing him to move forward.

 

“CHOI JUNHONG!”  Sungjae exclaimed.

 

Zelo didn’t mind him.

 

“But what if Jinhee doesn’t love you anymore?” Jonghyun asked him.

 

“Did the two of you plan this? Do you want me to erase all of your attendance records? That way you’ll fail!” Zelo threatened them like a kid.

 

“No. Seriously. Just answer us. I was just curious.” Jonghyun shrugged.

 

Zelo shook his head with a smile. “That won’t ever happen. Jinhee loves me. And I love her. That’s it!”

 

“And what if someone fell in love with Jinhee?” Sungjae butted in again.

 

Zelo frowned. “Nothing good ever comes out from that mouth of yours.” He mumbled.

 

“But what would you do if that happens?” Jonghyun asked Zelo curiously.

 

“I don’t have to worry about that. I already said that we love each other right? So if someone likes her, I know she’d just ignore him.” Zelo grinned confidently.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chanyeol was busy staring at the sceneries as the bus is moving. It was the only thing he could do to keep away from Jinhee. And to forget the fact the Park Jinhee was seated right beside him.

 

The thing is, he couldn’t help but be curious about what Jinhee was doing. But he doesn’t even have the courage to look.

 

Suddenly he felt a light weight over his shoulder. He slowly looked over Jinhee and found that she has fallen asleep. Jinhee fell asleep on his shoulder.

 

Chanyeol bit his lip. He couldn’t help but smile. Happiness was written all over his face.

 

*But Jinhee would be mad if she woke up on my shoulder.* Chanyeol thought with a frown. With that, he slowly tried to remove Jinhee’s head from his shoulder.

 

 

“Yah! Park Chanyeol, why are you doing that? Just let her sleep!” His classmate, Minji told him.

 

Chanyeol shook his head as he tried to explain. “No. You don’t understand it. She will be very---“

 

 

“Why are you like this?”

“You should just let her sleep on your shoulder.”

“So unmanly~”

“I never thought you were like this.”

“What’s wrong with letting her sleep on your shoulder?”

 

 

His classmates started to lecture him and give their different thoughts about what he was supposed to do.

 

*Why does it make me look so bad?* He thought as he just nodded. “Arasso. Arasso.” He said just to convince his classmates that he’ll just let Jinhee sleep on his shoulder.

 

Then he placed Jinhee’s head on his shoulder carefully. And from the corner of his eyes, he watched her sleep. *She’s pretty even if she’s asleep.* He thought.

 

*I never thought that this field trip would give me a good memory.* Chanyeol thought as he smiled.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“What the hell are you doing?! I said move his head to the right and slightly tilt it downwards!” Minji hissed at Jun.

 

Jun scratched the back of his head and just did what she told him. *Why am I even doing this?* He thought as he carefully moved Chanyeol’s head closer to Jinhee’s and tilted it downwards just like what Minji told him.

 

They were taking a picture of them. It was a popular tradition to take a photo of their sleeping classmates every field trip. And Jinhee and Chanyeol were not exempted to that rule.

 

“There. Very good.” Minji grinned as she took a picture of Jinhee and Chanyeol. She looked at it and nodded. Satisfied with the picture she took. “They look good together don’t they?” She asked Jun as she showed him their picture.

 

“Babo. Did you forget? Jinhee has Choi Junhong. Let’s go to our other classmates and take pictures of them.” Jun hissed at her as he walked towards the farther seats in the bus, trying to spot their sleeping classmates.

 

 

Minji frowned. “But they look good together.” She mumbled as she glanced at the two of them before finally walking away.
