‘Sica!’

Jessica turns around and she saw the guy that’s calling for her. He is with his other member.

‘Hi, oppa,’ she greeted him casually.

‘Hi, long time no see, right? I’ve been busy recently,’ he said.

‘Neh, I know,’ she said while smiling.

‘By the way, let me introduced you. This is Jiyong. Jiyong, this is….’

‘Jessica-shi. I know,’ GD said.

‘Anniyonghaseyo Jiyong-shi. I’m SNSD’s Jessica.’

‘Just call me oppa,’ GD said while smiling.

‘Neh and called me Sica or Jessi,’ she said shortly.

‘You met with hyungdeul recently?’ Top asked.

‘Yepp, I met them last week,’ she said.

‘So, how have you been?’ Top asked.

‘I’m good. Just a bit busy,’ she told him.

‘Of course you are busy. So, when will we hang out together again, with hyungdeul?’ Top asked.

‘I don’t know. It’s always Jaejoong oppa who set the date,’ she said.

‘That’s right. But, I’m really glad that I met you here because honestly, I miss you,’ Top said.

‘Ah, neh,’ Jessica said quietly.

‘You don’t miss me?’ Top asked playfully.

‘Ermm, I do,’ she said reluctantly without looking at him.

This is why she’s uncomfortable with Top. He always so direct even though in front of other people. That kind of situation makes her feel uncomfortable.

‘Jessica, have you listened to our song?’ GD asked.

‘Neh, I like High High so much. Especially, your rapping part,’ she said excitedly to GD.

‘Really?’ GD asked.

‘Neh,’ she said.

‘So, you don’t like my part? Now, I’m so sad,’ Top said.

‘Ahh, ani. I like your part too, oppa,’ she told him.

‘You are lying. You said you like Jiyong’s part,’ Top said, pretending sad.

‘I like both of your parts. I like the whole song. Satisfied?’ she asked sarcastically.

‘Now, I’m feeling good,’ Top said brightly.

Jessica chuckles seeing his reaction.

‘Finally, you are laughing. It’s so hard to see you laugh,’ Top .

‘Ani. If you know me well, I’m always so loud,’ she said.

‘Really? So, I guess I need to know you better,, right?’ Top asked.

‘Well, may be,’ she said.

‘So, can we go on a date?’ Top asked.

‘Eh?’

‘Hyung, I’m here too, okay?’ GD said playfully.

‘Just closed your ears,’ Top said jokingly.

‘So, what’s your answer?’ Top asked her again.

Jessica is trying to find an excuse but she couldn’t think of any. But then, she saw Junhyung not far away from her.

‘Junhyung-ah!’ she called loudly.

‘Oh, ice princess!’ he said brightly and approaches her.

‘Ah, anniyonghaseyo sunbaenim. I’m B2st’s Junhyung,’ Junhyung greeted GTop.

‘Anniyonghaseyo. I’m Jiyong and this is Top,’ GD greeted back.

‘Oppa, Junhyung is my closed friend,’ she told the duos while spontaneously holding onto Junhyung’s arm.

‘Ah, really? Nice to meet you,’ Top said, trying to hide his jealousy.

‘Nice to meet you too,’ Junhyung said.

Junhyung, who knows about Top’s liking for Jessica understand well why Top looks bitter when she hold his arm.

‘Where are you going?’ Jessica asked Junhyung.

‘I’m looking for you,’ he said.

‘Really? Mweyo?’ she asked.

‘Nothing. I just miss your loudness,’ he said playfully.

‘Yahhhhh!’ she yelled.

‘See, that’s what I’m talking about,’ Junhyung said.

‘Wow, Jessica. Your voice is not a joke at all,’ GD told her.

‘Ah, mianhe Jiyong oppa,’ she apologized, embarrassed.

Top is eyeing YongSica with jealousy. Jessica is completely ignoring him after Junhyung appeared.

‘I need to go now. See you,’ Top said grimly and walks away from them.

‘Oppaaaa…’

Jessica is feeling guilty seeing Top like that.

‘Junhyung-ah, wait a minute, okay?’ she said to Junhyung and runs after Top.

GD is just shaking his head seeing Top’s action.

‘Seunghyun oppa!’ Jessica called him.

Finally, Top stops walking and turns around, facing her.

‘Mianhe,’ she apologized while staring at his face.

‘For what?’ he asked while gazing into her eyes.

Jessica tries to look into his eyes too but she fails because his stares are so deep. She can’t stare at it for too long.

‘I don’t know but somehow I know that I hurt your feeling just now,’ she said.

‘It’s okay. I know you don’t like me,’ Top said quietly.

‘No,no. Don’t say that. I like you, I do,’ she said.

‘But just as a friend, right?’ he asked.

‘I’m sorry, oppa,’ she apologized.

‘Sica, I just want you to give me a chance, please,’ he said earnestly.

‘I..i..’

‘Please give me a chance. Please treat me like you treat your other friends, like Junhyung-shi,’ he said.

‘I do treat you like my other friends,’ she told him.

‘No, you tend to avoid me,’ he said to her.

‘Mianhe, oppa. I promised I’ll not do it again,’ she said.

Seeing his eyes make her feels guilty.

‘Really?’ Top asked.

‘Neh, I promised,’ she said while smiling.

‘Now I’m feeling better,’ he said.

‘I’m really sorry, oppa. I know I’ve been acting cold to you before,’ she apologized again.

‘Stop apologizing. I get it,’ he said casually.

‘So, I think we will meet each other often,’ she said.

‘That’s right. Gayo Daejun and also in Japan, soon,’ he told her.

‘Neh. Oppa, I need to go now. Junhyung is waiting for me,’ she said.

‘Okay. Tell Jiyong that I’ll be in our waiting room,’ he said.

‘Neh. See you later, oppa,’ she said and walks away from him.

‘Hey Joker. Sorry about that,’ she said when she is with Junhyung.

Jiyong is talking with Hyunseung, not far from YongSica.

‘Jiyong oppa, Seunghyun oppa is at your waiting room,’ she told GD.

‘Okay, thanks for telling me,’ GD said.

‘Ur welcome. See you later, oppa,’ she said to GD.

‘Neh, see you later,’ GD said back.

Jessica drags Junhyung with her.

‘So, now there is Top sunbaenim,’ Junhyung said.

‘You already know about him. Aigooo, I’m tired of this,’ she sighed.

‘You are too popular,’ he told her.

‘Ani, Yoona is much more popular than me. And also Fany, Yuri and Taengoo,’ she said.

‘Well, they are popular with the guys on screen, but you, off screen. Backstage, the real one,’ he said.

‘Aishhh, stop that already. I’m tired just thinking about it,’ she told him.

‘Where is my birthday present?’ he asked her.

‘OMG, I forgot again. Mianheeeeee,’ she apologized cutely.

‘No2x. This time your cuteness is not working with me,’ he told her sternly.

‘Arasso. What do you want? Tell me and I’ll get it for you,’ she said.

‘Ermm, let’s watch late night movie together,’ he said.

‘Okay but with one condition.’

‘Yahhh, you are not in the position to give any condition. It’s my birthday present, remember?’ he said.

‘Pleaseeeee, the condition is not hard at all,’ she begged.

‘What is it? Tell me and I’ll decide whether I can accept the condition or not,’ he told her.

‘After the movie, let’s visit your favorite place. The beautiful park,’ she said excitedly.

‘Ermmm, let me think first,’ he said, teasing her.

‘Pleaseeeeeeeee,’ she begged like a little kid.

Junhyung chuckles seeing her cuteness.

‘Nope!’ he said sternly.

‘Yahhhh, Yong Junhyung! You are so mean!’ she said loudly and pouted.

‘You are mean here. Because you forgot my birthday present,’ he told her.

‘Aishh, arasso. Do as you wish,’ she said grimly.

‘Are you mad?’ he asked.

‘No,’ she said coldly.

‘You know that you look ugly when you are mad,’ he .

‘So what?’

‘Aigoo, I wonder what Donghae ,Top and other guys like about you. You are so loud, scary, violent and ugly. Nothing special at all,’ he teased again.

Jessica is really sad when Junhyung said that about her. Honestly, she’s already used to his teases but she doesn’t know why this time, she feels really hurt. Before this, when Junhyung , she will just ignored it but this time, she feels sad and hurt.

Junhyung noticed her expression. He gazes at her but she is looking at other direction. He gets a glimpse of tears in her eyes.

‘Hey, are you really mad?’ he asked.

‘Ani,’ she said.

‘You are mad. Mianhe, I’m just teasing you,’ he apologized.

‘……’

‘Sica-ah, why are you so sensitive today?’ he asked.

‘I don’t know,’ she said coldly while gazing down on the floor.

Junhyung lifted her chin and stares into her eyes.

‘I’m really sorry. I’m just teasing you. You know me, right?’ he said.

‘I know. You are the mean and annoying Junhyung. I hate you,’ she said and pokes her tongue at him.

Junhyung chuckles at her childish action.

‘Come on, let’s go. Donwoon is looking for you,’ he said to her.

‘Neh, let’s go. I miss him so much,’ she said brightly.

‘Aishh, I don’t understand girls at all. At one moment, you are sad and mad and after awhile, you are smiling brightly and happily,’ Junhyung said.

‘That’s the specialty been a girl,’ she told him playfully.

‘Specialty? I think it’s the weirdness of the girls,’ he said.

‘Weirdness?’

‘Yepp, weirdness. Especially you. You are so weird,’ he .

‘Yahhhh!!’ she yelled.

‘Aishh, and now you are back to the loud ice princess,’ he said while covering her ears,

‘Serve you right for always teasing me,’ she said.

‘You are loud, violent, scary, ugly and weird. Woww, what a package,’ he teased again.

‘Yahhhhhh, Yong Junhyung!!!!!!’ she shrieked at his ears.

She holds his hands, not letting him covering his ears, and she succeeds.

‘Aishhhhh, I think I might become deaf for sure this time,’ he sighed while rubbing his ears.

‘That’s your punishment,’ she said happily.

‘If I’m becoming deaf, you are the one that’s responsible for it. You must take care of me for the rest of your life,’ he told her.

‘Really? Shiro!’ she said.

‘You can’t get away,’ he said.

‘I don’t want to stuck up with an annoying and mean guy like you for the rest of my life,’ she told him playfully.

‘No2x. I’ll make sure you take your responsibility,’ he said.

‘Whatever,’ she said and rolled her eyes.

They reached B2st’s waiting room and steps into the room. Without they knowing, Top is watching them from a far. He saw everything about YongSica. He envies seeing her closed friendship with Junhyung. She seems so comfortable with Junhyung, and that makes Top having heartache.
