      I looked upstairs and stared at Ayaka as she ascended through the stairs. I don’t know what I’m feeling right now but I’m kind of pissed off with Ayaka. I mean, who search for boys when they’re engaged? Who does that?! Does this mean she's replacing me?

      “Ugh! This is going to kill me!” I shouted, frustrated.

      I didn’t notice that Seojoon-hyung sat beside me already and smiled.

      “Hey, what's with the shouting?” he asked, holding a cookie in his hand.

      “Ugh... nothing," I replied, avoiding the topic.

      I don’t want to tell him that I’m upset with Ayaka. I really don’t know why I’m feeling like this but I’m really upset with what Ayaka did. I didn’t expect her to go searching for boys. I’m not being possessive or jealous—I guess it just hurts my pride.

      “Nothing, eh?” hyung taunted, “I can smell your jealousy, you know.” he smirked.

      Jealous?!

      “What?! No, I’m not!” I exclaimed, defensively.

      I’m not jealous! I mean, why would I be? There’s no reason to be jealous at all. I guess it just really hurt my pride.

      “You can tell me everything Kai. I'm your hyung after all.” he smiled.

      I contemplated, thinking if it is okay to tell him. But you know, why not? What’s wrong with telling hyung? I mean, he’s a man. I guess, he will understand what I’m feeling right now.

      “Uhm, I’m kind of upset because Ayaka searched for boys.” I answered and I couldn't help but to frown.

      Ugh! Why am I feeling like this anyway?!

      “She did?!” he asked, surprised and I just nodded.

      “Did she really tell you that?” he asked.

      Well, she didn’t really tell it to me. I just assumed that she did since she was avoiding the topic.

      “N-no...” I answered as I lowered my head.

      “Then, maybe she's just messing around with you!” hyung smiled as I looked at him, “Why don’t you call Gayoung. She was the one who's with Ayaka the whole day.” he muttered as he left and tapped my shoulders.

      Why didn’t I think of that?! I quickly fumbled through my phone and dialed Gayoung’s number. After two rings, she answered it.

      “Hello?” she greeted.

      “Hey Gayoung,” I greeted.

      “What’s it you need Jongin?” she asked, sounding like she was expecting my call.

      “I was wondering… I mean, you're with Ayaka the whole day…” I muttered.

      “Uh-huh.” She answered, “We were together, why?”

      “Well, I was just wondering… Uhm…” I stuttered, trying to find the right words.

      “Get straight to the point, Kim Jongin.” She exclaimed, “What is it that you need?” she asked, getting straight to the point.

      “Well, I'm just curious… What did you guys do?” I asked.

      “Why are you asking?” she asked, “Well, we just shopped till we dropped and ate. What do you expect?” she replied.

      So, they just shopped? I let out a sigh of relief that I didn’t know I was holding.

      “Uhm... nothing related about boys, right?" I cleared out.

      I heard Gayoung chuckled on the other line. She probably thinks of me as a psycho now.

      “Why would I even go with her if she wants to do that?” she asked, “You know me Kai, I'm not interested in boys.”

      Yeah, Gayoung plus boys is seriously not a good equation—more like Gayoung plus books equals to love.

      “Uh, is that so?” I exclaimed, smiling, “Anyway Gayoung, thanks. Bye now.” I muttered as I bid goodbye and hanged up.

      I immediately smiled and went out of the house. I don’t know what has gotten into me but I just realized that I was on my way to the cupcake shop just near the house to buy Ayaka some. She really loves cupcakes especially those that Myungsoo makes but I’ll make sure that she will love my cupcakes more than L’s. And also, I owe her some cupcake since I pissed her off last time. I went inside the shop and eyed those eye-catching strawberry cupcakes.

      “Uhm, can I get a dozen of those strawberry cupcakes?” I smiled at the cashier lady and she just smiled back, punching my orders. I quickly paid for it and grabbed the box of cupcake. I was about to leave when my eyes caught a familiar person hunched back on her table, studying.

      “G-gayoung?” I exclaimed.

      She raised her head and was surprised to see me.

      “Hey,” she smiled.

      “What are you doing here?” I asked as I sat in front of her.

      “I was about to go home after sending Jiyeon home but this shop caught my eyes, so I decided to stop by here and study.” she answered, “I bet those are for Jiyeon, huh?” she smiled.

      “Yeah, I just thought about it.” I answered back.

      “Yeah, she likes sweets. She will surely love those.” She smiled, “By the way, what happened with you and Jiyeon?” she asked.

      “Don’t even talk about it, haha.” I laughed, “Just some misunderstandings.” I answered back as I scratched the back of my head.

      “Oh well, I just wish you guys luck.” she smiled.

      “Yeah, thanks.” I smiled, “Anyway, I got to go.” I muttered and stood up.

      I was about to leave when Gayoung suddenly spoke up, “Oh yeah Kai,” I stopped on my tracks and turned to her but she was already looking down on her books and turned to me.

      “Don’t hurt her, alright?”

      What did she mean by that?

MOON GAYOUNG

      It’s Monday today and the student council are really busy right now because today is a very special day. Exchange students from America will come today and we will spend a week with them. And since the student council was given the task to supervise the program, the council and I are all busy. We also invited some Korean students who speaks English well to help us communicate with the American students.

      “Gayoung-ah, the students who will help us is already at the conference room.”

      I quickly nodded and went to the conference room to talk to the students who offered their help since I’m the PRO. I went inside the conference room and went to the platform but I was shocked to see a familiar face sitting before me. He smiled at me and I couldn’t help but scowl. I don’t know why but this guy just irks the hell out of me.

      “Well, good morning everyone,” I greeted, setting aside my irritation to Chanyeol.

      Yes, it is Park Chanyeol. Why is he even here? Does he even know how to speak English?!

      “I guess you all know why you’re here.” I started, “American students from our sister school, ‘Carnegie Vanguard High School’ will be coming today and we need your help to break the communication barrier between everyone so I hope you guys will do your job well.” I smiled.

      The students clapped and I quickly left the room but I was shocked when someone held my hand, stopping me on my tracks.

      “Gayoung-ah,”

      I turned around and was surprised to see Chanyeol standing in front of me but I quickly, shrugged his hand off and walked out. However, he still followed me.

      “What do you want Park Chanyeol?” I asked.

      “Nothing,” he answered, “I just want to apologize.”

      “Apologize?” I asked, “How many times have you apologized? And how many times have you done it again?” I muttered.

       Chanyeol is apologizing because of what happened last time at the bar. After I remembered everything that happened between me and Yugyeom, I couldn’t help but to fall apart and breakdown. Chanyeol apologized to me that time and hugged and soothed me. And since I was really depressed that time, I reached my drinking limit and got really drunk. The next day, I woke up in a very different room and guess what?! Chanyeol brought me at his condo unit! I freaking screamed at him and punched his face. After that, I avoided him at all cost but I guess I won’t be able to do that now since I’m in one circle of friend with him.

      “Look, if this is about me bringing you to my condo unit—“ I quickly stopped him and cut what he was about to say.

      “Oh no,” I exclaimed, “It wasn’t about that! It’s because of you!” I shouted as I pointed at him, “Why do you keep on placing your nose to somebody else’s business?! I already told you that I don’t want to talk about Kim Yugyeom but you keep on pushing me to!” I exclaimed, enraged.

      My heart was beating so fast and I can feel the anger building up inside me.

      “W-why are you crying?” he asked, startled.

      I was surprised. I touched my face and true enough, my face was wet of tears. I didn’t even know that I was crying.

      “Just… just stop it,” I mumbled as I walked away from him.

      “No Gayoung,” he exclaimed, “I will not stop especially that you’re keeping yourself in a box after what happened with you and Yugyeom.” He muttered, “Just tell me what happened between you and him and I will not judge you.”

      I laughed mockingly. Is he serious? Does he think that I will believe those lies that he’s spatting?! I know better!

      “You will not judge me?!” I snorted, “ that bull! My mother almost disowned me after she learned about everything that I have done with Yugyeom and you’re here, telling me you won’t judge me?!” I laughed sarcastically and glared at him, “I don’t know why you’re so concerned about me but please stop it because I don’t want anything from you—not your help, not your friendship and definitely, not you!” I shouted and walked away from him.
