Chapter 81: Games
The Past is the Key to our FutureHye-min’s POV
I was still trying to wrap my head around the situation.
First: Infinite came all the way to Canada to prompose to me?
Second: How and why was Sean involved?
Third: I had to choose my prom date here? In front of the entire school? How did they even get permission from the Principal?
No.
This was not happening.
There was no way that I, Emma Hye-min Choo, will in any way go through with this game they had had planned.
“How’s she going to choose?” My best friend Hana shouted before she winked at me. Was she also part of the plan? How on Earth did I not know about this? If I wasn’t with Hana I was with Sean. When did they get the time to plan all this?
“Good question Lily! We’re going play a fun little game.” Sean announced. The student body joined in a cheered at the top of their lungs. They were probably ecstatic to be out of class and the fact that the assembly was not school related made it that much better.
“Haha…oh no we’re not. I think I’ll be going!” I said already half way to the exit. The teachers rushed to block the door and a hand also pulled me back.
“Hye-min ah!” I turned and met eyes with Hoya oppa.
“Oh hi oppa. Long time no see? I’d love to stay and talk but I have somewhere to be.” I lied attempting to pry his hand off me. It was probably the worst excuse anyone’s ever made up.
“You’re not going anywhere. I didn’t come here to get rejected.” He whispered into my ear. The warmth of his breath sent shivers down my back.
“No Emma! You are not giving in to him.” I thought breaking free and running to the unprotected door.
My hand reached the handle and just as I pulled the door, my body was flung over someone’s shoulder.
That scent.
It was Hoya oppa.
I let out a defeated sigh and buried my head in my face.
“Sit here and don’t move.” Hoya oppa smiled.
“Alright. Now that Emma has decided not to run away. Let’s continue with this before school ends!” Sean laughed.
“We’ll start with a simple game called: ‘How well do you know Emma?’” Hana announced.
Oh no. This is a joke right? They’re going to reveal personal information about me in front of all these people? In front of my teachers, classmates, and juniors?
Sean handed the eight of us a white board and pen not giving me the chance to object.
“Alright first question. When and where did you guys first meet Emma?” Sean asked while my friend Hana translated to Infinite.
“Alright let’s reveal the answers, 1, 2, 3”
On the 3 we spun around our white boards and of course we all had the same answer. February 14, 2011. Lotte World.
“Next. When is Emma’s birthday?”
This question was going to end the game here. Only L oppa knew my birthday.
