Chapter 42: Time flies

We were all happy for Dongwoo hyung and Soo-jung; they liked each other since day one. It was kind of like love at first sight? If that actually exists.
As we all gathered to congratulate them, I couldn’t help but glance over at Hye-min. She looked happier than Soo-jung; if a stranger were to guess, they would think she was the one Dongwoo hyung asked.
“When will I get my chance to ask Hye-min?” I thought and I was sure L thought the same way.
“Kids! Ready to go?” manager hyung asked from the van. The 9 of us boarded the van; Hye-min got on first and headed to the very back seat. Sungyeol quickly followed her and got on next. The three of us sat at the back together. L, who was the seat in front of us turned his body slightly to keep Hye-min in his peripheral vision.
“What do you kids want to eat?” our manager asked.
“Hyung! We’re in Busan! Buy us seafood!” Woohyun cheered.
“Seafood!!” The rest of us joined in and cheered until he gave in.
“Oppa want one?” Hye-min pointed some lollipops at Sungyeol and I. She handed me one and as I unwrapped it Sungyeol motioned her to feed him the lollipop.
“Ahhh!!” he said as she laughed and she willingly put a candy into his mouth.
“Aww, what a nice girl!” he teased pinching her cheeks.
“Aww, what a nice boy!!” Hye-min copied, pinching him harder. The two of them went at each other for a few minutes before pulling themselves back together.
“Oppa, you’re so immature!” Hye-min said sticking out her tongue at her.
L and I exchanged worried looks. Had Sungyeol stole Hye-min’s heart without us knowing? How could he?
The ride was about 20 minutes long and we finally arrived Jagalchi Seafood Market.
