“Are you sure about this?” Jungmin asked Hye-min. Since the ride to the airport, he’s noticed how jittery she’s been. She was constantly checking her phone as if she was waiting for someone to call. Then at the airport she kept directing her line of vision to the main entrance as if she was waiting for someone to show up.
Hye-min’s mind was drifted off to a world of its own and she hadn't noticed Jungmin asking her a question.
“Hye-min?” He said waving his hand in front of her face.
“Hm?” She said snapping back to reality.
“Are you sure about this?”
“Sure about what?” She asked.
“About leaving Korea.”
It was time for Hye-min to let it sink in. She still couldn’t believe that she was actually leaving Korea.
The time was finally here.
It was finally time to say goodbye to the place she called home for the past two years…
“Yea. I’ve made up my mind.” She lied.
Her head was telling her one thing but her heart was telling her something else.
“You know…it’s not too late to back out. I mean…I’ll understand.” Jungmin reminded her.
“Don’t worry, there’s no reason for me to stay anymore.” Hye-min finally got herself to say.
It was the truth she didn’t want to accept.
Even though she had broken up with Hoya, she wished for a miracle to happen…she wished that Hoya would ask her to stay...but of course that wasn't going to happen. She couldn't help but miss him. She missed him more than she could explain.
“Alright. I’m just giving you the option because you suddenly agreed to come after turning me down almost a hundred times.” Jungmin joked.
Hye-min’s sudden agreement caught Jungmin off guard. He too, was surprised by her decision. At first he was thrilled that Hye-min finally accepted the offer but as time passed by, he couldn’t help but sense that something wrong with Hye-m
