Chapter 113: We Tried Our Best

“HYE-MIN AH!” I screamed as I felt her collapse in my arms. The sudden shift of her body weight pulled me down along with her. I carefully secured her head in my arms and laid her body down. Her face was pale, it looked like all the blood left her body.
Jungmin hyung rush to my side immediately. I grabbed her icy cold hands and hugged her in my arms.
“Is she okay?” He panicked.
He examined Hye-min and gently patted her on the cheeks in attempt to wake her but she was out completely.
“Hye-min ah! Wake up!” I said shaking her arm.
It was no use, she didn’t give us any response.
“Let’s take her to the van.” I suggested.
“Can you manage?” He asked motioning toward Hye-min.
“Yea.” I said, carrying her in my arms.
We walked back towards our van and I seated Hye-min in the back seat.
“Can you drive?” I asked Jungmin hyung.
“Sure, where are the keys?”
“Here.” I said handing over the keys my manager had given me after he accompanied Hoya hyung to the hospital on the ambulance.
“Where are we going?” He asked getting into the driver seat.
“The hospital.” I suggested.
I knew that’s what Hye-min wanted. She wanted to see Hoya hyung and I was going to make that happen.
Seeing Hye-min cry earlier broke my heart. I couldn’t bare seeing her cry, unless they were happy tears. All I wanted was to make her pain go away…but I couldn’t.
She only wanted Hoya hyung.
He was the only one that could stop her tears.
As much as I envied him, he proved to me that he truly loved her.
He risked his life for her.
When we arrived at the hospital we went directly to the emergency, with Hye-min on my back. She showed no signs of waking up, even through all the commotion which worried Jungmin hyung and I.
“Sir! Is she okay?” A nurse asked as we walked to the emergency.
“Uh…” I froze. The truth was, I wasn’t sure whether she was ok.
“She’s fine.” Jungmin hyung ensured the nurse.
