Hye-min’s POV

After leaving Lotte World, Sean and I walked around a park while he explained to me everything that happened during the past few months.

The entire time he explained himself, I was distracted by something else. It's like his mouth was moving but no sound was coming out. I couldn’t stop thinking about someone else. I couldn’t stop thinking about how Hoya oppa had treated me before I left. It bothered me...he had turned into a cold and harsh person. I thought he cared…but I guess I was wrong.

That night, Soo-jung sat me down and had a serious talk with me.

“Are you sure you won’t regret this?” she asked holding my wrists.

“Do you trust that Sean…that he won’t break your heart again?”

“He didn’t mean to break my heart…you heard what he said.” I answered. That was what I wanted to believe. I wanted to trust him again, I had to trust him if I was going to stay with him.

“Hye-min…things can’t be like they used to, especially after all that happened. There will always be a scar on your heart, a scar caused by Sean…” she continued. Soo-jung was right. I knew that things couldn’t be like they used to. He did break my heart and that scar will never leave, no matter how much I love him.
