Chapter 27: Transformation

“See you two later!” the seven of them yelled from the car as Soo-jung and I jumped out of the van.
“Ready?” Soo-jung asked linking arms with me. After hearing that we would perform with Infinite, she couldn’t contain her excitement. It was like a dream come true for her. She would be in the spotlight and on a stage with thousands of people watching.
When we entered the salon we were greeted with warm hellos. Then they immediately got to work. I had one person playing with my hair, one decorating my face and one doing my nails. I literally had no say in anything. I guess they know what’s best.
The entire process took two and a half hours.
“You look amazing!” the makeup artist said spinning me around so I could finally see my reflection. I got out of the chair and walked closer to the mirror.
“My hair…my face…” I gasped. I couldn’t even recognize myself. My ombred hair was now fully black. My hair was curled and they cut my fringe. I had see-through bangs that covered my forehead. The makeup artist did a good job creating a look to match my dress.
“One last touch.” The hairstylist walked over and tied my hair in a low ponytail pulling to long strands to frame my face.
“Perfect!”
“Oh my goodness, Hye-min look at you!” she gasped holding my hands. Soo-jung looked ready for the stage. Her hair was straightened and pulled to one side. The makeup artist gave her a smoky look to match her bl
