Chapter 53: Keep it a Secret

It wasn’t long before we arrived at Jeju-do.
“It feels good to be on ground!” Hye-min sighed with relief when we arrived at our vacation home. She dropped her bags and fell back into the sofa. Hye-min’s appearance hadn’t changed one bit but her presence…it was different but it was a good kind of different.
“I’m never taking back to back flights like that again! I’m so jet lag!” She stretched her arms in the arm and rested her head on the sofa arm.
“I’m so glad you came!” Soo-jung rushed to her side, giving her a big hug.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”
“Don’t you think this was better?” Hye-min smiled turning to us.
“No school?” Dongwoo hyung asked.
“Nope. The summer’s for having fun!” Hye-min jumped from the seat, walking over to Sungyeol. She was still most comfortable around him, if she wasn’t with Soo-jung, she’d be glued to Sungyeol’s side. I envied him, I wanted her to be comfortable around me too.
“What should we do first?” Sungjong asked.
“Let’s go play on the beach!” Woohyun suggested pulling out his swim trunks.
“Not so fast! You boys have a photo-shoot to do.” Our manager interrupted. Soo-jung took this chance to sneak away.
“You too young lady!” Soo-jung had no choice but to drag her feet back toward us. After Soo-jung was featured in our concert, our CEO decided to accept her as a trainee. She was the first female trainee so he tried to feature her in as many of our events as possible. This photo-shoot was no exception.
“You guys here to work? That’s no fun.” Hye-min pouted, crossing her arms.
“There is no way these 7 are getting a two week vacation without work.” Our manager laughed. He was right, we wouldn’t feel right if we went 14 days without work.
The crew members set up wardrobe, hair and makeup stations around the house as we took turns getting ready. Hye-min sat on the sofa and occupied herself with her laptop. She didn’t want to bother us while we got ready.
