Chapter 71
It was Monday morning. The first day of my practical training at SM Entertainment. It was about 9 o'clock –a bit earlier because I had learned that it was politer- when I reached the building and I went in. Choi Sa Rang was already waiting for me.
"Ute, Daesang! Good morning. How do you feel today?", he asked with his normal loud voice.
"Fine, I think. Maybe a bit nervous", I answered and he laughed.
"You don't have to be nervous! C'mon, I have the same way."
We walked together along the corridors and passed lots of doors. He showed me around. Of course I already knew some rooms and parts of the building but I really enjoyed the walk. Finally he stopped in front of a door which looked like all the others, too.
"Before I forget it!", he said and took something out of his pocket. "Here, this is for you. It'll help you doing your job for the next three weeks."
In his hand was a new, black Blackberry.
"You don't wanna take it?", he asked on while I just starred on the phone.
"I can't take it", I said totally confused. "Really. I have a cell phone and it's quite good."
Mr Choi sighed.
"No, you'll take it. It is for you and the practical training includes the stuff you need for doing the job. The most important numbers are already saved on it and I bet if you have any problems the boys can help you." He took my hand and placed the Blackberry, including a case for it, on my hand. Then without waiting for any reaction of me he opened the door and entered the room. I first starred on the thing in my hand then hurried behind him.
"Thanks a lot, Mr Choi", I said.
"How often do I have to tell you that you shall call me Sa Rang?", he asked with a bright smile on his face. Finally we reached the people in the room. SHINee and their manager were sitting there and talking about something. They already had waited for me.
"Our first stop will be Honk Kong. There the boys will have a performance and a TV appearance", the manager explained. I listened closely and tried to concentrate on what he was saying but inside I was totally excited that I would go to Hong Kong. I had never been before in China!
"It'll be fun to have Daesang three weeks with us", Jonghyun said when their manager left for a little while.
"It'll be totally awesome", Key shouted excited. "We will be with her from early in the morning till late in the night!"  I sighed.
"Guys, you know that my job is to help your manager and get some experiences in this business. It's a three week trip with friends!"
"Well, maybe we can combine both", Taemin suggested and smiled. "I have to say that I'm pretty excited, too!"
