Forty One.
Tracing To You.HYE RIM’S POV.
I woke up with an arm draping around me. I looked around me and almost panicked when I saw the total darkness. I breathed in and out, just as I saw a flash of something bright from my window that stunned me for a while.
I waited for a moment before I heard the low and rumbling sound nearby. It was louder than what I expected. Like it was just above the roof of the house. I thought I saw shadows moving across the walls and realize it was mine. I panicked again and whimpered in fear as the flash of light happened again and shut my ears with my trembling hands.
“Hye Rim?”
I shifted closer and turned so that my face was buried in his chest. I squeezed my eyelids shut until my eyes teared slightly. I whimpered again when I heard the thunder again. It wasn’t long when I heard the sound of rain drops right outside my window, gaining.
Taemin wrapped his arm around me and patted me. I could only whimper and feel my fear growing as the cold wind blew in.
“Taemin…” I muttered, “The window…”
He got up and I almost missed his warmth surrounding me. I grabbed the closest thing and sandwiched the pillow in between my ears. He came back, his body covering me. He helped me up and hugged me, kissing the top of my forehead repeatedly.
“I’m here….” He whispered in my ear, his voice soothing. My heart calm down a little.
“I hate storms like this… with the lightning and thunder,” I admitted, burying my face in his neck.
He sighed and kissed my cheek, “I’ll be here when it storms like this…. I promised.,”
I looked up and nodded, sighing. He wrapped his arms around me tighter. He hummed to a soft song, lulling me to sleep again.

ONEW’S POV.
Its raining heavily outside.
I sighed and looked out the window. Very soon, I thought, very very soon.
“Hyung?”
I turned to see Jonghyun joining me by the window. I glance at him and then looked out. We kept quiet for a moment before he opened his mouth to speak.
“The girls….” He muttered, “They don’t know yet.”
I nodded grimly and pouted my lower lip.
“Minho said its not the right time,” I repeated what I heard from Minho’s lips when I discussed about him earlier today over the phone.
“The girls,” Jonghyun sighed, “How can they not know yet?”
“Not everyone knows about us,” I said, looking at him, “Korean Pop is still booming but not that famous yet,”
Jonghyun sighed and nodded. Quietly, we looked out, staring blankly into space.
“What about Taemin?” I heard him said, “He just gotten together with Hye Rim…”
“That….” I muttered, “Is what I’m worrying for now,”
Once again, the lightning flashed and for a moment, blinded me. Then followed with the rumble of thunder. Storms are so fascinating sometimes. They can make you pause and think about the whole life you have been living, while nature is doing what it does best.
