Chapter 99: Unexpected Swim
The Past is the Key to our FutureHye-min POV
The girl, who I assumed to be the leader, threw me to the ground like I was a ragdoll.
She was a lot smaller than me…all of them were but she was strong…very strong.
The girls who had Hana under their watch also threw her onto the ground next to me.
“Emma! Are you okay? I’m so sorry!” She cried hugging me.
“It’s ok…we just need to get out of here.” I whispered.
“Aw how sweet, look at these two.” One mocked.
“Oh Hana, if only you hadn’t tried to quit you wouldn’t be here today.” The leader spat.
“I was wrong! I should have never listened to you!” Hana screamed.
“You’re crazy! You’re all obsessed, Infinite does not appreciate crazy fans like you! No you guys aren’t fans, you’re stalkers, selfish stalkers!” She continued only making them angrier.
“Her first!” The leader demanded pointing at Hana.
“She’s a swimmer so tie her hands and feet!”
“Hana!” I panicked trying to pry the other girls off Hana only to have myself thrown to the ground again. My knees and hands scraped against the gravel.
I witnessed Hana being tortured by the girls before she was finally released. Her feet and hands tied behind her back.
No.
They couldn’t. I couldn’t watch my best friend die in front of my eyes.
I pushed through them with a sudden outburst of strength and hovered over Hana. If they were going to throw her in, they had to take me with her. They tried to pry me off but I held onto Hana not letting go. I felt her fidget her arms under me and realized she had loosen the ropes.
“We’re just going have to throw both of them in!” The leader yelled and suddenly Hana and I were off the ground. A dozen arms carried us toward the river.
“Hurry!” She yelled.
I closed my eyes and thought of Hoya oppa.
“I’m sorry oppa…”
