Chapter 90: Please Wake Up

“Oppa!” Hye-min screamed from across the road. She had a big smile on her face as she waved. Although we were separated by a busy street, she sent me hearts and blew me kisses. I covered my mouth, trying not to laugh at her attempt at aegyo. Cars continued to race before our eyes as we waited for the light to change.
When the light finally turned green, a figure suddenly appeared behind Hye-min. There was something suspicious about the person; their stance, the way they hands were behind their back. The person didn’t move, she only stood there staring down at Hye-min. Along with the other pedestrians, I crossed the road, approaching the other side. When I got closer to Hye-min, something shiny caught my eye.
The stranger turned to me and gave me an evil grin flashing the sharp knife at me.
She was going to attack Hye-min.
“Hye-min ah!” I screamed running toward her. Hye-min smiled and started to run in my direction. The person took this chance and grabbed Hye-min’s arm, spinning her around before stabbing Hye-min with the knife.
“Hye-min ah!” I screamed catching her fall. I ran my hand to the knife in her body. Blood quickly stained her dress. Her eyes rolled back and quickly closed.
“Hye-min, please don’t leave me!” I cried.
“O-op-pa” She coughed.
“I’m here.” I said gripping onto her hand. Her face cringed with the pain.
“Oppa…I - I” She coughed again.
“Hye-min ah, what is it?”
“I – I love you.” She said just before her body went limp.
“No! Hye-min ah! Wake up! You can’t leave me. No! Please!” I cried pulling her body closer to mine.
“This can’t be happening! Why! Hye-min ah!” I screamed but was interrupted by a familiar voice.
“Hoya! Wake up!” The voice screamed along with a forceful shaking of my shoulders.
I slowly opened my eyes to adjust to the brightness of artificial light. I was inside somehow.
