Chapter 38: Morning Surprise
The Past is the Key to our FutureHye-min's POV
When I entered the room, L oppa and Hoya oppa each occupied a bed, which meant I had to sleep on the floor.
“So much for being gentlemen….” I thought.
I rummaged through the hotel drawers searching for extra blankets and pillows.
“I guess it’s only fair…I’m technically the “guest”” I convinced myself. Tonight I would sleep on the ground.
“What are you doing?” they questioned.
“Nothing.” I continued to search the drawers and finally found the blankets on the top shelf on the closet. I tiptoed and tried pulling the bag by the handle. It was heavier than I thought. I continued tugging on it, the bag started to fall. I immediately covered my head with my arms, protecting my head from being hit.
“Aish, I can’t take my eyes off you for one second.” Hoya oppa grunted as the bag hit his back.
“Are you okay?” He asked pushing me forward still holding my shoulders. I looked up at him and stared into his eyes. They were unreadable, I couldn’t tell if he was worried or angry.
“Are you okay?” He asked again, this time running his fingers over my forehead. His touch brought me back to reality.
“Are you okay? The bag hit you…not me.” I asked with concern. I gently examined his head to make sure he wasn’t injured.
“I’m fine. As long as you’re okay, I’m fine.” He was dead serious. His words were truly from his heart. Unlike Sean, his words were real. Since day one all he did was care for me, expecting nothing in return. He was like an older broth
