Jaejoong’s POV

            “Do you know who the guest for this MV is?” Yoochun came to where Junsu and I are

sitting. We just finished the shot where the three of us are singing. I’m having my hair styled while

Junsu’s clothes are being taken care of by the stylist.

            “Who?” I asked.

            “Junsu, this is your lucky day...It’s Athena!” He revealed.

            “Chincha?!Eyyy........how is it possible? Isn’t she a big Hallyu star for them to get?”Junsu

was not convinced.

            “That’s why I said it’s your lucky day. I went outside and heard the staffs are talking

about it so I asked the director and he said true.”

            “What do you think Jaejoong hyung? Isn’t he just tricking me again?”Junsu turned to me.

I looked at Yoochun to see any sign if he’s just kidding but I didn’t see anything.

            “Let’s just see later..” I answered.

            “OH.MY.GOD...”Junsu said with his eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

I followed where Junsu is looking. Coming from the other side is none other than Athena.

            “See...I told you..”Yoochun whispered.

Everybody on the set turns silent. She has this strong natural aura with her that gives us the

feeling that she’s a big star. She genuinely greeted the staff. Together with the assistant director,

she comes near us.

            “Athena sshi, this is JYJ.” The A.D. introduced us.

            “Annyeonghaseyo. I’m Athena.” She said while bowing her head slightly.

            “I'm Yoochun.”

            “I'm Junsu”

The two offered their hand for a handshake in which she received.

            “Nice to meet you.” said Athena.

Junsu looked at me.

            “Ah, this is our Jaejoong hyung.” He already introduced me before I could speak.

            “Ah..” She gave me a quick glance which I think didn't even last a second.

            “Athena sshi, the title of the song is Boy’s Letter.” The director is giving us some briefing on

the theme of the MV and how are we going to do it.

            “The message of the song is about the man being thankful of his woman’s love and

devotion. Your role is the girlfriend of the JYJ members in the story. Jaejoong, Yoochun, and

Junsu will be representing the same person here. First, we will take some shots of you with each

of them. It’s going to be like you’re in a date but in the end it will be revealed that you’re all alone

on those places and each one of them are some sort of a spirit only. We also have a scene in end

which they will be on a coma and you take care of them patiently showing loyalty and love.”

She is nodding once in a while focusing on what the director is saying. She looks calm different from

the first time I saw her. I never mentioned anything to anyone about our encounter on that

elevator from two weeks ago.

They first took her and Junsu’s scene. It is on a park where they were riding bikes. Then Yoochun

and Athena had their scenes on a cosy cafe. When the time for us to have our scenes, we are both

sitting on a bench waiting for the bus. We also have some inside the actual bus where she’s sitting

next to the window viewing the scenery while I’m just beside her. The director asks me to just

take a look at her and think that she’s the person I love in this world. We didn’t get to talk about

anything but I had lots of time to stare at her in such a near view. She's beautiful and that's

undeniable. Probably one of the most beautiful women I saw in my entire life.

                        “Thank you for the delicious meal.”

From my own plate, my eyes went to Athena as she stood up from her seat. Everyone is in the

middle of having lunch.

            “Athena sshi, are you done eating?” The director who’s sitting on the other table asked.

            “Ne...Thank you again for the food.” She replied before leaving.

I met the gaze of Yoochun and Junsu.

            “She finished all of it.” Junsu says after looking at her bowl next to him.

            “Why did she eat so fast? It won’t be good for her stomach...”Yoochun comments.

            “Maybe she feels tired and wanted to rest for a moment in her van.” I voice out.

Weird...well, at least she ate with everyone. I heard some staff earlier whispering if she would eat

lunch with the crew or have her manager get her own food.

            “Ah! Director, is it okay to let Athena sshi near the fans without any bodyguard?”

Junsu, yoochun, and I looked at the production assistant. He said that Athena went straight to the

fan that watches over the set.

            “She's having her pictures taken with them and giving some autographs too!”

            “Is that true?!” Junsu asks.

            “Yes.”

            “I have to get an autograph as well!”

Once I'm done with my food, I stood up from my seat and went out. I see her talking comfortably

with her fans. She's smiling and chuckling with them. So she finished her lunch right away to be

able to spend some time with them? She seems to be nice and down to earth I thought. Her

manager and driver are on a distance. They are keeping their eyes on her. Usually managers and

bodyguards surround the celebrity when they're having personal contact with fans but it's not the

case. Maybe, Athena really treats her fans like this. It would be easy for fans to approach her then.

But what if one of them is not a fan but a hater? Or a sasaeng perhaps? Isn't she afraid at all? Very

unusual for a big celebrity like her....

We resume the shoot of the MV. This time, we'll be doing a hospital scene. The three of us will

serve as the boyfriend in coma so we are wearing patient pajamas. Junsu is lying in the bed as

Athena arranges the flowers in a vase. In Yoochun scene, she was reading him a book. In our

scene, the rain can be seen outside the window.

            “Athena sshi, you will see the letter from the drawer and you will read it. Then you will

hold Jaejoong's hand and you will cry.” The director gave her the instruction.

            “Yes director nim.”

            “Just tell me when you're ready and we'll start rolling okay?”

Not long after the camera started to roll. The song that I wrote can be heard. I close my eyes and

pretended to be in a coma.

Then, her soft hands held mine.  She rests her cheek into it. I know that she's looking at me. Then

suddenly I felt a warm liquid dropped in my hand.

            “Athena sshi, can we take some pictures?”Junsu approaches her.

            “Okay.” She genuinely agreed.

They took some pictures together. Junsu seems to be excited while Athena smiles slightly for the

camera. Then Yoochun joined them.

            “Hyung! Come here. Let's snap some pictures together!” Yoochun told me. I came to take

some photos with them.

            “Thank you Athena sshi!”Junsu said while checking out the pictures.

            “Thank you for inviting me for the MV....”

            “That's our pleasure...to be able to work with you..”Yoochun said.

            “I'm glad to work with you all. You worked really hard for today.” She said.

She nods at me before she headed outside. I saw her put on her sunglasses. Her driver and

manager walks with her. Some paparazzi and reporters tail them to the van.

            “She's not a snob like I thought she would be...she's nice indeed..”Yoochun said.

            “She's really beautiful too! We talked comfortably earlier. Do you know that like us, she

debuted 8 years ago?” Junsu added.

I'm just listening to their conversation on the facts they've learned about her.

            “Seems like the news about her are not entirely true. She's quiet and she focuses on her

work. Also, she has a good relationship with her fans. I think I want to be her fan from now on.”

Yoochun stated.

            “See? Those are just made by the press...Also, I don't think she's a flirt like what the news

says. She didn't even ask much about us. Usually girls would ask for our contact numbers...” said

Junsu.

            “How about you Jaejoong, what is your impression of her?” He asked.

            “She seems nice. I don't know...After all, we didn't talk about anything.” I shrugged my

shoulders.

            “Yeah I noticed that. Junsu and I had some chats with her during our takes but you look

awkward together...” Yoochun said.

            “Maybe hyung is too overwhelmed by her presence...” Junsu teased me.

            “It's not that...I just don't know her that much...” I said.

            I was watching TV when the trailer of Athena's new series was shown. She's gonna be in a

tear jerky drama. I see Kang Dong Won and some other big actors and actresses in the cast. I could

say that this will gain a great number of viewers. Suddenly, I remember the MV taping earlier. I

grab the Ipad next to me and typed her name in the search bar. Her personal informations are on

the internet.

            “So, I'm older than her by a year.” I utter.

I continued to read but it was limited. Nothing about her personal background is stated. Articles

are usually about her winning of awards, new shows/movies, or scandals. She had been involved

with lots of scandals since her debut mostly about being linked to different actors and models. If I

will base it on what I see earlier, it's hard to believe that she has the reputation of a playgirl but she

has a lot of pictures with different guys. She was often seen in bars partying 'till dawn. There's also

an article saying she got a ticket for driving under the influence of alcohol. What shocked me the

most is the news of her 8 years ago about being caught having drugs in her purse. It was a few

months after her debut. She's very much visible in the television because of her CFs, dramas, and

news. She also makes movies every year. On the other hand, she rarely attends variety programs

nor approves to do interviews. On the issues being thrown at her, it's always her agency or

manager that gives out statements. How could she remain quiet with all those things? If those are

false, then she should speak for herself. Is it because she's guilty or it’s her agency's way of

handling her career? After all, she's really popular and managed to get a lot of projects despite all

those negative publicity. I shook my head. She doesn't have a good public image. To be known like

this is the ultimate nightmare for a celebrity.

Based on my observation earlier, she's a quiet person. She doesn't talk much unless being asked.

Maybe people sees that as being snob. Anyway, that's not totally speculation..there's a certain

coldness on her part too. As if she's just there to do the job and nothing more interests her. The

only moment I saw her let loose is when she joined her fans. She smile widely and chuckled.

Wait....Is this for real? I'm searching about this Athena? Why am I spending my time thinking

about her and her issues?

            “Better use my time doing something more important...” I turn my Ipad off and walk to my

room. I'll have an early start tomorrow so I should sleep now. It won't do me any good to even

think of this person. I don't have any plan of getting to know her more. I worked with her once and

I want it to stay like that....a one time colleague.

Hi people! If you noticed, the entire chapter was told from Jaejoong's POV simply because it would be boring if it's on Athena's POV. It tells how people sees her as a celebrity.
