Athena’s POV

A big restaurant awaits me as I step down from the car. I’m going for some socializing time again.

Dong Won sunbae and I were invited by our director to come with him right after the taping. He

said that we are going to meet his director friend over dinner.

The three of us enters and I just follow them.

            “You brought your cast with you?” our director says to his friend.

I saw Choi Kang Hee, Ji Sung, and Jaejoong there. I tried to hide my sigh. Why do I keep seeing

him around?

Our directors introduce us to each other. Ji Sung seems to be a funny and outgoing person. Choi

Kang Hee is happy and witty I think. I listened to their stories as we eat the delightful dinner in

front of us. They asked me a few questions that I answered. Thank God Dong Won sunbae is a

good talker that they pay little attention to my shortcomings when it comes to sharing.

The conversation must be really interesting that I somehow lost track of time. I didn’t get bored

this time probably because of the lively atmosphere.

            “Athena sshi, what is your first impression of our Jaejoong here?” Their director asks.

We were in the middle of saying about our first impressions when he asked me that. I’ve been

doing my best not to look at him since we arrived but now I have to do that.

            “Yeah, you worked together before right?”Ji Sung says.

            “Yes. Twice.”Jaejoong answers.

            “So Athena sshi, what can you say about Jaejoong?” Kang Hee repeated the question.

I blink my eyes.

            “The truth?” I ask in which they nod. I stare at him. His eyes are fixated on me showing his

interest on what I’m about to say.

            “I think he’s a confident person.” I start.

            “The way he dresses says how confident he is...he’s the type of person who thinks that he

could get what he wants. What he says is totally different on what he is doing on the side.” I

made sure of eye contact for him to get what I mean.

There was a short silence in between.

            “But I don’t know...it’s just an impression isn’t it?” I smile at them.

          “Ah...that’s right! First impression always tend to be false...I always have troubles because

of first impressions.” Kang Hee says in which everyone agrees. Then she started talking about her

own experience about wrong impressions that took everybody’s attention. I continue to listen to

them and once again, ignore his presence.

Jaejoong’s POV

Athena says that she has to go. Kang Do Won volunteers to walk her to the car but she strongly

refused. I watch her as she goes her way out and the next thing I know is I excused myself by

lying about going to the restroom.

            “Athena!” I called her name but she didn't look back. I run to catch up on her.

            “Would you please wait?” I say as I grab her.

She didn't speak a word.

            “Are you mad at me? The way you acted there...did I do something wrong?”

            “Why, do you think you did something wrong?” she asks back in a hostile tone.

            “I don't know that's why I'm asking you. What did I do to make you upset?” During the

entire dinner, it was as if she's not seeing me. When she did, she gave me a sharp look making me

convinced that she's angry over something.

She smiles bitterly.

            “What makes you think that you can make me upset? Whatever you do is not my concern

so don't be so full of yourself.” she says mockingly. She removes my hand from holding her arm. I

was left speechless.

Athena's POV

I keep turning in my bed. Sleep is not friendly to me at all. I'm still uneasy because of the unusual

annoyance I'm feeling. I keep thinking what could be the cause of this but only a single sight flashes

in my mind. So what if there's another girl holding and kissing his hand? So what if he's with a girl?

Whatever they do is not my business. Isn't that good because it only means that he won't bug me

anymore?

I stood up from lying finally admitting that sleep won't come anytime soon. What would I do 

in this empty house of mine? Its thirty minutes before midnight. I know exactly where to go to kill

some time.

Its midnight on the dot. I'm now indulging with some cocktails and partying really hard to shake

my irritation away.

           “Sweet Jesus....I think I've found the hottest girl in town.” A foreign guy express his

amazement as he watch me. I've never had a fling with anyone since the last scandal happened.

Maybe if I'll try for one tonight then I'm going to feel well again I thought.

            “Are you with someone?” I ask him.

            “You can speak English?” His handsome face shows surprise upon hearing me speak in

fluent English.

            “Yup.”

            “I'm here alone. My name's Andrew. What's yours?”

            “What do you want it to be?” I gaze at him flirtatiously. His smile became wide and he joins

me on the dance floor. I dance with this stranger without any inhibitions. I forgot how many songs

had passed. I'm just trying to erase that from my head.

In the dancing rays of light, I saw a figure. When the light touches his face, our eyes met. Why does

he need to be here too? Anyway, I don't care and this would be the perfect time to make him

realize that. I smile when the foreign guy held me closer. He whisper praises into my ear which I

didn't give real attention. I chuckle when he kisses my shoulder.

Jaejoong's POV

I grit my teeth trying to hold back my anger. I want to tear that guy into pieces. I went here to

somehow clear my mind about the confusions I had due to Athena's action earlier only to find her

again....in the arms of that man. My heart is being eaten by jealousy. I couldn't even concentrate on

what my companion is saying.

Athena's POV

I look my face in the mirror for a few minutes. Alcohol has gotten into me and it shows in my

crimson cheeks. When I walked out of the ladies room and I saw the foreign guy on the same spot.

He's grinning to himself while waiting for me. He's probably thinking that he's got all the luck he

needs tonight. I decided to exit quietly without him knowing. I'm a bit tipsy so it wouldn't be safe

to continue hanging out with him.

            “Aren't you going with that guy?”

It's non other than Kim Jaejoong. I ignore him and continue walking. I tried to step slowly so I

won't stumble on my feet but he blocks my way.

            “If you're going to do it anyway, then why not with me?” he asks between his gritted

teeth.

He surely is persuasive and hard headed. Yeah, he has a point. If I would play anyway, why not

with him when he's very much willing? The answer is because a strong voice in my head says that

he's off limits. That I should keep my distance from him because he's not the type that I play with

when I'm bored then dump after I'm done. Why I have these thoughts about him is a puzzle for me

as well.

            “Because you're not my type...” I simply answer.

            “W-hat?”

I'm sure he's not used to hear that from girls. I inhale deeply when he smiles instead of walking

away which is what I expected.

            “It's just okay. I like you and I'm confident that I can make you fall for me if you'll  just

give me a chance.”

            “You have no idea what you are getting yourself into....”

            “I already told you that I know exactly what I'm signing up for.” his voice shows firm

determination.

I shake my head to disagree. My head is starts spinning and I don't think I could give him any

sense if I continue to talk. All of a sudden I notice that the foreign guy came out of the door and

looks around. He might have realized that I don't have a plan to return so he looks out if he could

still get a hold of me. Jaejoong sees him too so he pulls me away. I no longer have the strength to

say no when he made me ride his car. Damn alcohol....I think I passed out during the ride.

His face is what I'm seeing every time I open my eyes.

            “Athena...” he calls my name.

           “We are here..Tell me how to open the door..” he says afterwards.

I hold my right hand up and show him my index finger. He let me open the door using the

biometrics. When the door opens, we enter. I just realized that the whole time, he's carrying me in

his arms while mine are wrapped around his neck.

This is my house right? Did he drive me here? How many glasses of cocktails did I drink? My

mind is responding slowly.

We reach the room and he sits me to the edge of the bed. I'm just looking at him with a blank mind

as he removes my Jimmy Choo from my feet.

He looks up to me and my eyes wonder around his handsome face. His nose is straight...his lips

look smooth and has the impression of giving a perfect kiss. His eyes are beautiful with their long

lashes. Without blinking, we let of eyes meet.

            “Would you be angry if I kiss you now?” he breathes in a soft voice.

My hand automatically rises and touches his face. He move fast and claim my lips. His kiss is 

aggressive yet sweet.  My fingers run through his hair and I receive his kiss wholeheartedly. It

feels like the world is now spinning. I don't know exactly what's happening but I'm swirling with

the sensation.

            “I want you...” he utters in between.

My lips parted and I let out a groan. I felt the soft sheet against my back when he laid me there.

He caressed my cheek before granting my lips another kiss. I can sense the heat coming from his

skin. With the touch of his hand, an alien feeling boils under my flesh. Like a thirst or

craving...aching and searing through me. 

It is as if my mind abandoned me this very moment. I don't know...I don't care...I drown deeper

and deeper.

Author's Note:

Whew......(sigh of relief) I was thinking how to write the last scene in a discreet manner because writing rated scenes is not my forte so it was a challenge for me...Well anyway, I think it turned out fine and I was able to get the result that I want....What about you people, what do you think?

For the title, I chose this one because it identifies on how Athena perceives Jaejoong...also I like the irony it gives on the last scene. Comments please....
