First of all...i can't believe it took me hours to figure out how to get this typed...儚....yeap, that one word/letter...-_-...haha...wow...i mostly type by listening...but for some reason...i can't seem to find that to type....T^T....oh well....i finally found my way n feeling good for it...anyway, this just brings back so much memories n feels. I remember the first time i was to translate lyrics written by KI here back in Summer Break album, i was so worried bcuz i had no confidence since i didn't know his lyrical style n i was kinda used to PJM lyrics style from Save Us Tonight album. But then things just click and when i see the lyrics here, it kinda make me smile, because it feels so right. I really like KI lyrics style n stories in his lyrics...(frankly after translating too much of his lyrics...i kinda forget PJM's style though they're both not much far apart in lyrical style methink)...despite not loving lame love song style of lyrics...the imagery in Jungmin's Japanese songs' lyrics always feel strong, and i always feel that the imagery/scenery depiction just tells more of feelings than talking of feeling itself like what often found in Korean versions of the song. Ugh...i'm a er for this whole poignant feels thing. And this song's lyrics is just beautiful...i love song that makes me feel by just telling the story rather than telling me what they're feeling to impose it on me.Not to mention i'm a er for bus/bus stop related talks since it's something dear for me...lol. really, i always feel so many feels and get so much inspirations n life reflections just being on buses. though i'm not that fond of waiting at the bus stop....:/ haa. but bus is just part of my daily life from a child to grown up that i'm just proud of. (especially considering many kids these days are proud to say they don't even know how to take buses....huh...spoilt brats much?)

Though for me, the greatest love song will always be Ai Wo Kudasai(Please Give Me Love J-ver) because the love depiction that goes beyond couple-loves but humanity love is just as great as it could get. well, at least for me. i just love, love that's not just love yknow...which is probly why i prefer Japanese ver of Please Give Me Love over the Korean, and Futari over In the Ear despite being pairs of same songs with different lyrics. and chose to adapt both Japanese versions to make Malay version.

Wow...what the hell...why would anyone bother read of my lyrics preference or my love for bus....eh? This song's trans flows quite well for me though some parts doth make me confused thinking of the possible different interpretations.

Notes:

- 面影/omokage - here i use traces, but in simpler terms i could use 'memory'...the word literally refers to 'face/looks/image of the past'

- Ai wa ma boroshi hakanaku kieta - i wonder if this should be 'love illusion fleetingly vanished'...but in the end i stuck with what i see...instead of trying to change anything...and btw, maboroshi can mean phantom/vision/dream/etc. ...i just go with illusion...

- 忍び/shinobi - this is a headache...it can have several meaning....from endure/conceal/sneaking...n i'm reaaaalllyy unsure because all three can be put in context methinks. i think bigger chance could be endure, but because previously it's talking about 'i didn't notice your loneliness'...i think it should be something to be related to why he didn't notice 'your loneliness' or the consequence...which in this case, conceal/sneaking would fit too...but then again....endure could fit too...so...whatever....:p

- Yoru here most probably refers to 'night' since he's talking bout last bus(though the word itself can be translated to evening too)...but...i use evening since it sounds more formal/romantic...says who? me. :p

- Boku ni wa kitto dekinaikara - pretty sure the thing he 'can't do it'...refers to leaving 'you' behind, refer to previous line...in case you miss it...so...he's trying to convince himself that he wants to leave the memories of 'you' behind but he couldn't do it...he just couldn't...boohoo...even that line(all of you i want to leave behind) can be connected to previous line(suddenly i search...)...of course, it's all part of one song afterall....so don't take line per line as a stand-alone thing...they don't.

- 描き/egaki literally means to draw/paint/sketch/portray/depict/etc...but in song context it doesn't have to be literal drawing i suppose...

- Itsuka kimi ga kono machi ni - Actually, this sentence doesn't specify the future...it just say 'you're in this town'...i get that it might be his imagination that 'you' is in town even if he doesn't see...but to make it make more sense i just replace with 'will be'...

- Kitto modotte kuru to shinjite - i'm not entirely sure whether it means 'i believe you'll surely come back' or 'surely come back with belief'-as in 'your' belief...not his..i'm not sure...i go by gut feeling since i don't think the lyricists would make it so complex in structure but really...who knows?...

- the lines 'even if i'm alone in sleepless night', followed with 'because we can meet in dream'...well, i think it's saying, 'it's alright even if i'm all alone in sleepless night(waiting at the bus stop) because we'll meet in dream'...sounds more understandable...yeah?

- aie iru  i'd have use i love you if it's aieru...since iru after -te form suggest ongoing/continuous action...i think i like to use different structure for it...
