• Kitto - surely/undoubtedly...but here i use 'without fail'...that can also mean constantly...
• Sakende - 'crying out' aka shouting/crying
• Fure - Move aka Touch...so it's not that direct/literal meaning of move your position, but the move as in moved/touched feelings...stirring of emotions...
• Mamoru - protect/defend, but it'd sound weird if i write 'protect your smile by/to myself' won't it? So i use 'keep'...but you get the meaning...
• Kasaneta - piled up/repeated...which in this context...i think 'repeated season' is trying to say of a period of time that goes on and on...i think.
• The 'forever and ever I lived' line...is a continuation of previous line...if you want to understand the context...which means...forever and ever he lived in that state...not that he live forever or anything.
• Same goes for line 'This vow of love throbs violently'....and the next line, 'From the unchanging love I present to you'...so the vow throbs violently from the unchanging love he presents...
• Massugu - straight..can also be upright, straightforward, simply and the likes. This line is probly the hardest for me bcuz i don't quite know which interpretation it goes to...straight ahead here can mean 'I simply draw your future'...in other words, simply depict/imagine the person's future...i was a lil iffy at first, bcuz 'draw a future with you' sounds to make more sense...but maybe that's not what the writer meant...who knows? that's the common one, doesn't automatically mean all writers go for common ones...so idk...even to come up with this whole translation, i had to peel the words over and over to see the possibility of the meaning the writer aims for....and i could still be wrong since i'm not the writer.
• You'll see that the first verse doesn't go well with the rest, bcuz the first verse seem all happy and then it went downhill...well, if you look at the whole thing...i guess we can deduce that first verse is a recollection/reminiscence or even imagination....
• ai shika naikedo - which is the song's title...if you break it...it means ai-love/affection, shika - nothing but/only(if used with negative verb) nai(no/not aka negative verb..:p) kedo - but/although but i think the usage is often/can be muted n not directly mentioned...the direct trans as stated in the CD is 'Only Have Love' but that sounds rather...hm idk...so i go with There's Only Love...but it means the same...
