After moments of falling asleep, it was starting to get hot and jaejoong felt it too because he was starting to sweat so he removed her blanket away from them. When he looked over to her, she had sweat beads all over her face so jaejoong got up to wipe her body again. When he was done, he checked her temperature but it didn't seem to have change from before.

 

"...this won't do..." He said shaking his head. 

 

With that being said, he carried her out to his car and drove her to the hospital. He stood by as the nurses took care of her and connected her with an IV water. When the nurses left, he pulled up a chair and sat next to her.

 

"Your extremely sick and you don't want to go to the hospital...what is wrong with you?..." He whispered.

 

He waited around for hours but left for some food since the night was getting later and he hasn't eaten. When he arrived back at the room, _______ was still sleeping when his phone went off. 

 

"Hello?" he answered.

"Honey, where are you? you were suppose to be here four hours ago" sooyoung shouted over the phone as loud music played in the background.

"Sorry babe. My dad wanted me to stay at the company picnic until it ends to help with the raffles at the end..." He lied.

"Can't you just tell him no and leave?" she said sounding annoyed.

"You know I can't... This is my dad honey..."

"Okay...I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Come on sooyoung! hang up the phone it's time for some shots!!" he heard his friend Donghae shout through the phone.

"...uhmm... We'll see..."he told her when he saw _____ moving. "Babe I gotta go... Dad needs me. Bye." He said hanging up without a second thought and walked towards _______.

 

"You okay?" jaejoong asked.

"...aaaahhhh...." She softly groaned from the many shots she had earlier and the IV in the back of her hands. "...what are you doing here?" she said with a hint of coldness.

" I bought you to the hospital."

"...I don't need your help. I was doing fine without you" she said weakly.

"Didn't need my help??... do you realize I found you in your bathroom passed out?? your temperature was through the roof and instead of going down, it shot up!"

"You could have just left me"

"If I did, you would have died from dehydration"

"Good"

"Good?...good?? What is that suppose to mean??"

"So I can leave this life behind! You don't know what it's like to be me! I was glad that I got sick. I was glad that I didn't have to walk out of my apartment and see Siwon waiting for me outside asking me to go out on a date. I was glad that I didn't have to go to the company picnic to see you and sooyoung telling me off"

"What's so hard about your life?! everyone seems to like you! Hell, even my parents like you. Your little miss perfect"

"My life isn't how you see it...you won't understand...it's hard being me. My life is no where near perfect. It's more complicated than that..."

"...does it have anything to do with your mom?" he questioned cautiously.

"...how do you know?"

"You were mumbling about your mom earlier before I bought you here. What happened?..Is she...dead?"

"...I don't know..."

"How about your dad?"

"My dads in Germany..."

"What is he doing all the way over there?"

"A concert... He's a pianist. Maybe you've heard of him?... Shin baek kyung..."

"...yeah, I have. That's your dad??"

"Mmm..." She nodded.

"Waah...so, when was the last time you've seen him?"

"Too long to keep count... We've all drifted apart especially my mom... Not a single letter, email, or any kind of notification... So whether she's alive or dead... I wouldn't know..."

"Your parents are divorced?"

"Yeah...consider yourself lucky. Having parents who care and love you even if they kick you out or yell at you...they will always be there when you need them. I would give up my life to have a happy moment with my parents...even if its for a split moment." She said as a nurse walked in.

"Glad to see you up... How are you feeling?" The nurse asked as jaejoong stood aside.

 

As the nurse was taking _______ temperature and giving her more medicine, he couldn't help but feel bad for her. Thinking on that, it just made him want to be there for her even more since she must have been lonely growing up with no parents. 

 

Meanwhile at the company picnic, yoochun and junsu were looking for their best friend all over the party when they realized that jaejoong and sooyoung wasn't there.

 

"They must have went to another party right, hyung?" junsu asked yoochun sipping on a drink.

"Maybe...lets find out..." He said staring off into the distance where hyunjoong and chaerin were standing. "...hyunjoong ah!" yoochun cried out. 

"Whats up hyung?" hyunjoong answered back.

"... Have you seen your brother? we've been looking for him all night but he's no where to be found..."

"Hyung?... I dont know. I arrived here late so I didn't even get a chance to even see him."

"He's with _______-sshi" chaerin then announced shocking everyone.

"What. Did. You. Say?" Yoochun asked surprised.

"Mmm!" Chaerin nodded. "Jaejoong-sshi is with miss ______. Before the event started miss _____ texted me telling me that she's sick and since I am her secretary, it is crucial that I know where she's at at all times during work hours. When he asked me where she was I was a little shocked because I thought he would have been with sooyoung."

"How long ago did he leave?" hyunjoong asked.

"Five hours ago..."

"That's strange... Do you think he's with _____ right now? At this hour??..." Junsu questioned.

"Could be a big possibility" yoochun said thoughtfully reaching for his phone.

 

He dialed jaejoongs number an waited for him to pick up.

 

"Hello?" jaejoong picked up.

"Hyung... Where are you?..."

"Me?... Hospital... Wae?"

"Hospital??! something's wrong with you?? perhaps a... Change of heart?" yoochun joked.

"What?? what the hell are talking about?"

"Your with _______ aren't you?" yoochun smirked.

"So?...she had high fever so I bought her here."

"How long have you been there?"

"... I don't know... A few hours?"

"A few?? hahaha! don't make me laugh. Hyung it's midnight already. It's been five hours. Hyung... Tell me... You like her don't you?" yoochun whispered. 

"Byyye!!" jaejoong then hung up angrily. 

"...what did he say?" junsu questioned.

"He said... He likes her then hung up" 

"HUH?!?!" everyone exclaimed. 

 

Back at the hospital, jaejoong looked at his phone before turning it off completely. 

 

"Aaahhh! I'm so hungry!!" ______ cried suddenly.

"That's good.... That means your getting better." He told her when yoochun a voice lingered in his mind. "You like her don't you?"

"Thank you...I know I was a little mean to you earlier... Sorry..."

"No no... Not at all... I guess I understand why you were feeling the way you were. I know when I'm sick I think about every little detail and it builds up that anger."

"That's how I am!... Wah... We have a lot in common jaejoong-sshi..." She smiled as he set up the table in front of her and the food the nurse bought in.

"Kamsahamnida~" she said cutely with a little bow. "...oh great... Hospital food..."

"Here you go..." He said finishing up before walking to the table with his food.

 

He sat down at his table and opened up the containers he bought for himself and began to eat as _______ was looking at him. She tasted her food but didnt want it because jaejoong was eating some of her favorite dishes. As he was eating, she let out a loud sigh.

 

"Wish someone would offer me some delicious food..." She sighed as jaejoong turned to look at her. "...but I guess this will do..." She said continuing to eat her food slowly. 

 

Jaejoong looked at his food then back at her before gathering his food and joining her on the hospital bed. She smiled as he set down the food and look a bite of eat dish.

 

"Mmmmm!~" she smiled as he looked at her then smiled also.

"Hey ______?..."

"Yeah?" She said munching away.

"...when you get better, wanna go somewhere with me?"

"...uhmm sure...where?"

"I don't know...but promise me you will?"

"Okay..." She nodded. "you know... It's getting late, you should go home and sleep...or go see sooyoung...I'm not that terribly sick anymore."

"You still have a fever..."

"It's okay... If I need anything I'm sure the nurses will be willing to do it."

"...but-"

"It's okay. I'll be fine" she reassured.

"You know I heard that its creepy staying here by yourself.... Especially in a big room like this.... Can you imagine the deaths this room has seen?...but if you want me to go then... I guess I'll leave" he said going to the door as she looked around the room.

"Haha... Please that doesn't scare me... You see I have this love hate relationship with creepy stuff... Yes I know I'm weird."

"So you really don't mind staying here yourself?..."

"Not really... But it wouldn't hurt to have a friend..." She smiled.

 

Jaejoong returned back to where he was before and decided to stay. So as the night goes on, they both prepare to go to bed and as jaejoong was finishing up his bed for the night, he sat and stared at ______ who was already laying down with eyes shut.

 

"Good night..." He said turning off the light.

"Good night to you too..." She grumbled tiredly. 

 

Without any other words being exchanged, jaejoong laid down on his back and stared up into the ceiling. In the dead silent room, he couldn't help but think about what he told her earlier.

 

"...how many deaths has this room seen?..." He thought to himself.

 

As he was trying to ignore that thought and go to sleep, he started to hear subtle noises coming from the walls. Frightened, he covered his head with the blanket and tried to ignore it again but again started to hear crackling sounds. It has only seen a few minutes since he had turned off the lights but ______ had already fallen asleep since she was still weak and sick. 

 

"_______?..." He called out quietly. "_______? You asleep already??" 

 

Completely knocked out, she didn't move or budge at him calling her name. Now feeling restless about the noises, it is making it harder for him to go to sleep. He peaked out of his blanket and looked around the room. While looking around the room he was hoping and praying that he won't see someone's face staring back at him. With these crazy thoughts in mind, he couldn't take it anymore so he decided to move the couch closer to ________'s bed.

When the sun came up, I woke up to the coldness of the air conditioning and tried to open my eyes. When I did manage to slightly open them, I saw the face of jaejoongs next to mine.

 

"Oh no...I'm dreaming of him again..." I thought. "I guess this is the only place I can have him next to me without feeling guilty...I might as well enjoy it..." I said bringing my hands up to caress his face. 

"Morning..." He groaned with a smile as my smile went away.

"Wait a second..." I thought taking my hand away and pinching my cheeks. "Ah!" I cried out. "What the hell??..." I sat up rubbing my cheeks. "Can I ask what your doing in the hospital bed with me??"

"It was cold?" he said stupidly as I looked around the room seeing that he rearranged the room creating a barrier around us.

"....don't tell me...you freaked yourself out?" I said looking at him. 

"Is it that noticeable?"

"Yeah a little" I said pointing around the room as we laughed.

With the sun beaming outside, sooyoung who had gotten home from donghae's party a few hours ago woke up with a headache.

 

"Aaahhh...." She groaned sitting up in bed holding her head. 

 

She looked around and the room seemed unfamiliar to her as she tried to remember what she did last night. 

 

"Morning love" a male voice said walking out of the bathroom. 

"Donghae??..."

"That's my name " he smiled proudly. "...let me tell you, last night was amazing." He smirked sitting down on his bed sipping on coffee at was prepared by his maids.

"What do you mean??" she said looking at herself underneath the blanket. "What did you do??! I'm gonna have you arrested for !" she shouted.

"I wouldn't do that..." He said holding up a camera. "If you don't want jaejoong to see what we did last night or humiliated in front of the entire world... I'd keep my mouth shut" he said as sooyoung grabbed for the camera and played the video. Not a second after, she deleted it.

 

"...that's okay I prefer it on the big screen anyway..." He said turning on gigantic tv. "It wouldn't have been like this if you chose me over jaejoong"

"He's your friend!! how could you do this to him??"

"Want a copy?" he asked mockingly.

As they were talking and enjoying each others company, from his pocket jaejoongs phone rang. 

 

"...Excuse me...Hello?" jaejoong answered.

"Honey??" sooyoung said with a tremble in her voice making jaejoongs smile disappear.

"Sooyoung??... Honey?? what's wrong?"

"I need to see you now!"

"Okay but what's wrong??"

"Can you meet me at my house right now??"

"...sure ill be right there" jaejoong told her as she hung up the call. 

"Sooyoung?" _______ asked smiling.

"Yeah..." He nodded. "I have to go right now... I'm sorry" he said rushing out.

 

_________'s smile started to vanish slowly and felt alone and empty. After jaejoong left, hyun woo came busting in scaring her. 

 

"Chingu-yaaaaaaah!" he cried running towards her hugging her. "I'm so glad your okay!! I called your phone a million times but you didn't pick up!"

"How did you know I was here?"

"I heard yoochun hyung talking with your secretary saying that you were here."

"Oh..." She lightly nodded. 

"What's wrong?" he asked looking at her.

"...nothing.." She mumbles shaking her head.
