Jade’s POV

I glanced at my watch & tapped my foot furiously. I’ve arrived in front of Seoul Tower for over a half an hour already. Where is he???

It’s already 3:05 now I groaned & puffed my cheeks impatiently.

He’s not gonna stood me up again, RIGHT?

An Hour Later

I’ve been waiting, waiting & WAITING for hours now!! Where is he?!?

This is stupid. It’s almost 4PM & I’m still waiting here. Let’s face it. He’s not coming.

I gave it one more minute. Still nothing. But just as I was about to kick my heels & leave…

“Jade!”

I turned around & finally saw him. He ran to me while adjusting that cap of his on his head. “You’re here” he grinned.

“I have been for the past hour” I said, crossing my arms.

His mouth gapped, & he leaned in closer to make sure he heard right. “Wait, what?”

“You told me to wait for you here at 2PM, so I did!” I told him.

“Oh… You waited that long?” he asked with a bit of a guilty tone.

“YES, & where have YOU been???” I pointed.

“I had to drop by the radio station for a while after rehearsal. Didn’t you know?” he said.

“NOOO?” I glared, lowering my head. “I waited & waited &-”

“Didn’t you read the text?” he cut me off.

I paused & blinked. “Huh? Text?”

He pointed out about the little text he’d sent me about running a little late. I touched my jacket pocket & suddenly remembered.

“Ohh… I uh… left my phone in the dorm” I said, looking down, feeling slightly embarressed now.

“Uh-huh…?” he raised one eyebrow while staring down at me. “Do you know how important it is that you have your phone with you?” he began lecturing me. “What if you got kidnapped?? Or you’re lost & stuck somewhere, or-” suddenly he stopped & panned down at me.

I looked at him. “What?”

I blinked & snapped back to his senses. “N-Nothing. It’s just… Where’d you get that outfit?” he asked me.

For a second there I almost forgot what I was wearing & looked down at myself. I shrugged. “Blame Krystal & the girls” I sighed. “I look even worse than when Siwon & Zhou Mi dressed me up” I muttered.

He blinked once & twice while staring down at me. “No, no. You look, um… Girly” he tried to prevent his laughter.

My face flushed deep red in embarrassment. “Shut up~!”

“What?” he chuckled with one hand over his mouth.

“One more time you call me ‘Girly’ & I swear I’ll kick you.” I threatened. I gave out a deep sigh & crossed my arms. “Anyways, do you have any idea how long I waited?!”

“Not my fault you left your phone” he shrugged.

“Well because you were so sure that you’re free today! &-”

Before I could continue with my rant any further, he suddenly let out a little smile & grabbed my hand. “Stop your ranting & come on”

With his hand interwined with mine, he stopped my babbling & started running instead. “I wanna show you something. But later” he said & signaled me towards the streets.

From the mini street markets in town, we stopped & visited the mall to take a bit of rest.

“Hey what happened to you lips?” he asked & pointed as we walked in the airconditioned place.

“Hm?” I touched my lips. They were chapped as always. “Oh, it’s normal” I told him.

“Your lip bleeding is normal?” he arched a brow.

“They get pretty chapped sometimes. Nothing new” I shrugged.

“Ever heard of a thing called Lip Balm?” he said sarcastically while rolling his eyes.

“I have… Though I’ve never used one”

“To where?” I asked as I tried to catch up with him from behind.

He stopped in front one of the pharmacies & went in. I waited curiously outside wondering what he was doing. Coming back out, he tossed something in my hand. I blinked & held it up.

“Go put it on” he said, pointing at the Lip Balm he just bought.

“You didn’t have to buy it for me” I said. He shrugged. I rolled my eyes & skipped to the bathroom for a while.

After a minute, I stormed back out. “HEECHUL!!!!!!”
