Jade’s POV

I was peacefully sleeping, but I could feel something around me.

Eh?

I opened my eyes. The room was dark because I didn’t open the curtains. I grabbed my alarm clock on my bedside table & checked the time. It was only 6:50am.

Wow, I woke up before my alarm clock? Now that’s something new…

Usually I’d wake up late, but this time, I guess I woke up early because I had a hard time sleeping. Who wouldn’t? I’m leaving in hell now.

“It’s about time you wake up” a voice said.

I rubbed my eyes. Still dark. Then a figure opened the lights for me.

“Come on! It’s breakfast time~! Did we tell you when you start working? Meaning, today! & it doesn’t matter what time it is!”

I opened my eyes to see…

Yesung?!

“Yah!! H-How’d you get in here?!” I shot up from my bed.

“Doesn’t matter. Now make breakfast” he crossed his arms.

“Fine, fine… Just let me get re-”

“No time! The guys & I are gonna get going to practice soon!!” he grabbed my arm & pulled me out of bed.

“H-Hey! Can’t I at least get dressed first??”

“I said, NO TIME!!!”

I looked down at my clothing. I was still in my pajamas, wearing a white tank top & purple plaid pajama pants!

When Yesung opened my front door, I could feel the chill of the morning air. As Yesung dragged me out, I quickly grabbed my grey hoodie from the coat hanger & put it on!

“So… You want me to make breakfast?” I asked when Yesung pulled me into their dorm.

“Morning~!” Donghae cheerfully greeted as soon as he came in with Ryeowook, Zhou Mi & Siwon.

“Jade!” he exclaimed. “Good morni… What are you wearing??” he quickly asked when he saw me, still in my pajamas.

“Well…” I began. “I would’ve changed, if it wasn’t for Yesung over here, dragging me over here to cook!” I said sarcastically.

“Yah! You could’ve at least given her a chance to get changed!” Zhou Mi told Yesung.

“But it’ll take a long time & we need to get ready for rehearsal!” Yesung exclaimed.

“Rehearsal?” Donghae’s eyebrow shot up.

“Yea, the one you guys were supposed to have today” I told Donghae.

“B-But, we don’t have any rehearsal” Donghae said.

“What?” I asked & turned to Yesung. “Yah!! Are you telling me you lied???”

“W-Well…”

“I woke up at 6am, still wearing my pajamas, because of you?!” I shouted; grabbing onto his shirt collar.

“Um…” he quickly ran away before I could get to him.

“YAH! KIM JONG WOON! I’M GONNA KILL YOU!!!”

He didn’t even listen! He just ran away & disappeared into one of the rooms…

“Yah! What’s with all the noise?? I’m trying to get some sleep here~!” said Leeteuk as soon as he came in.

The others started coming out as well. Heechul, Shindong, Kyuhyun, Henry & the rest…

“Whatever…” I crossed my arms & rolled my eyes. “Since I’m awake, might as well cook for you guys” I said & head to the kitchen.

I began by cracking a few eggs for the pancakes, then added a few cups of flour. Then, a cup of water &…

“Morning~” that was when I felt a tight hug on my body from behind. I didn’t even need to turn around to know who it was.

“Yah, Sungmin-ah~! I’m trying to cook here!” I pushed him back.  

“Yah, I’m older than you! Call me oppa!”

“Yea yea…” I tried to ignore him.

“So what’re you making~?” he peeked at the batch of flat dough I poured into the pan.

“Pancakes” I replied coldly without looking at him.

“Emmm~ Smells good~!”

Did he just complement on my cooking?

 “Whatever… You’re just saying that” I replied while flipping the pancake.

“& how would you know?” he smirked.

“Because,” I flipped the pancake again, then turned to look at him. “You’re a mega flirt~” I smiled fakely. “Now move” I pushed him with my finger & headed towards the fridge to grab the orange juice.

“Well if you say so~ But still, I’m thankful that this time we got a maid who can actually cook”

“Hahah, cook?” I chuckled. “What’s wrong with the last maid?”

“Don’t ask” Sungmin chuckled as he followed me around the kitchen as I prepared the food. “Bad cook. Plus, bad odor” he pinched his nose.

Ok, at that point, I couldn’t believe I actually laughed. I mean, ever since I arrived, all I got was pain & suffer. But Sungmin wasn’t bad actually. He didn’t bully me like Eunhyuk & Heechul. He was just a mega flirt…

“Hahah, see? I actually got to make you laugh~!” he smiled.

“Oh, um…” gosh, I could feel my cheeks heating up! I mean, who wouldn’t, right? He is Sungmin from Super Junior! Also known as the cutest of all!

“Plus, we never had a ‘girl’ for a maid before” he said.

“I thought your last maid was a girl”

“More like a grandma” he whined. I rolled my eyes. “Anyway, we never had a ‘pretty’ maid before”

Aigooo~ Here comes the blushing again!!

“By the way,” he began. “Can I ask you something?”

“Um, sure” I said as I flipped the pancakes.

“Not sure if I got your name” he said.

“It’s Jade” I smiled.

He looked at me & smiled. “Jade… I’ll remember that” he said softly.

Gosh! Why does he keep doing this?? I feel like I’m gonna fall coz my knees aren’t stable right now!!

“Hey! You done yet??” I heard Heechul’s voice from the dining table. Which, sorta ruined the moment. Well, at least my knees are stable again.

“Coming Sir~” I groaned. Sungmin smiled & helped me carry the plates out.

I set the glasses of juice one by one.

“1..2..3..4..5..6..7..” I counted as I set it. “..8..9..10..”

& finally, 11 was Henry’s. I looked around. Something was missing. I kept on counting again.

“..9..10..11…” I looked around.

“I think so… I think I lost count” I told him & began counting again. & that’s when I realized…

“Where’s Eunhyuk?” I asked.

“Yea, I was about to ask the same thing” said Zhou Mi as he stopped eating for a minute.

“I think he’s still in his room” Yesung said.

“Huh? But it’s breakfast. He wouldn’t miss it” said Siwon.
