Afterwards we returned to the room to rest. I couldn’t really tell what time it was because of the lack of windows but Daniel came to wake me up.

“God, can you at least knock?” I said when he shook me. “No.” he replied with an easy smile and ushered me to go wash up and change.

Pan ni got ready after me and Daniel walked with us to the battle room. “Well today will be interesting.” He said and I got the urge to punch in the face. “Shut the hell up.” I said and he chuckled. “Sore spot, isn’t it?”

“It’s bad enough you find enjoyment in watching this, don’t make me want to kill you any more.” Pan ni said which surprised me. He seemed amused by Pan ni’s outburst but didn’t say anything else.

When we got to the room, all the guys were there. Woohyun looked angry, and Sungyeol was staring at me but I looked at Sunggyu. His eyes met mine and I didn’t know what I saw there. “I want this to be a private fight.” He suddenly said and Woohyun sighed. “Hyung, Wae?”

“I have my reasons, now everyone can go except for Pan ni.” He threw a look at her. But she was distracted and I followed her line of sight to the corner of the room. Belle was sitting leaning on Dongwoo’s shoulder, his hand loosely around her waist.

When she saw me watching, she smiled widely. Dongwoo didn’t look up. I saw the muscle in Pan ni’s jaw tense. Her whole body was so stiff I could have probably pushed her over. “Well now, everybody else should get out, no?” I said and Dongwoo and Belle got up first and left, along with the guys.

Hoya stopped to study me. “Don’t hurt my hyung, or I’ll make sure you regret it.” And I scoffed. “I heard that one before.” I said shrugging.

With their reactions I knew that Sunggyu didn’t tell and Sungyeol hadn’t exactly figured it all out.

When everyone left and the door was locked, Sunggyu said “Take off your mask.” He said and I sighed. “Does it matter?” I asked. “It does. Because being able to see your expression is going to prove a lot to me.”

“What the hell do you want to prove? I’m a , end of story.” I said and he wasn't fazed. “Well if this doesn’t mean to you then, what’s the worry in fighting me actually face to face?”

I hated it when he used my words to outsmart me. I unhooked the mask from behind my ears and put it aside. “Well let’s go.”
