Both Hoya and I made our way to the center of the mat. “I kind of thought about this.” He suddenly said and I looked up. “Huh?”

“Fighting you, without a mission to interfere. Who is actually going to win if we fight.” He clarified and I sighed.

“It doesn’t matter to me.” I said and he sighed as well. “If you hold back, I’ll know. And I won’t fight someone who holds back.” He said.

“I won’t.” I answered and then we both moved. Hoya was bigger and his stamina probably more than mine. I needed to keep speed on my side if I was going to win.

He threw a straightforward punch at me and I moved out of the way and grabbed his wrist. I hated hurting them. But I knew that they wouldn’t be as hesitant to hurt me. I slammed my elbow down on his forearm and he let out a gasp of pain but he changed the grip and this time he had my wrist. He pulled me towards him into a punch and I twisted so he just got my side. I gasped as the air left me but I jerked out of his grip and moved back.

I let out a huff. “When is this match deemed over?” I asked. “When one of you is on the floor for ten counts.” Daniel said and I nodded before looking back at Hoya. We both took a ready stance. He came at me first, bringing a knee up to hit me. But I dropped to a squat and hook my foot around his ankle and pulled. He fell back and I straddled him and threw a punch in his face without hesitation.

The guys didn’t know who I was but Celestia seemed to have all the information. If I held back she would know and maybe she would punish the guys even harder.

He grunted in pain and gritted his teeth before he punched me in the ribs, sending me rolling away from him. I put a hand on my side, breathing hard. He was rubbing his cheek, breathing equally as hard.

“Damn you hit hard for a girl.” He said and I smiled behind my mask. “I’m glad you think so.” I said and chuckled. “If my heart didn’t belong to another girl, I might actually fall for you.” And my smile disappeared. Not that he would know.

“It’s stupid to have feelings.” I said and he frowned. Then I kicked off and ran at him with an attack. I grabbed his arm and twisted it behind him but he twisted around and hit me across the face. I didn’t let though, and kicked out at him before he sent me back.

He skid back too and I landed kneeling on one knee. “You done yet?” he asked. “Not before I knock you down.” I said and he smiled. To me it was saddening.

I let out another huff and got to my feet.
