Woohyun
Infinitely Dangerous
After a while, I showered and sat on the bed toweling my hair. I broke the seal to the Bicardi 151 and gulped a few times. “I hate my life.” I said as I leaned against the headboard.
I don’t know when I out but I knew I probably wouldn’t have been able to sleep if I didn’t have such strong alcohol.
When I woke up, my head throbbed slightly, but after another shower it went away. I dressed in a clean outfit and tied up my hair and put on my facemask.
Daniel didn’t come to bother me this morning so I assumed he was probably busy. I walked back into the room from yesterday and the guys were already there, sparring with each other. Sunggyu saw me first and he didn’t give me a smile, it was more a expression of acknowledgement.
I tried to not let it get to me.
Woohyun was fighting Dongwoo and I watched Dongwoo. He was probably worried about Pan ni but she was probably still angry and didn’t want to talk to or see him.
It wasn’t like she could show her face because they would wonder where I was…right under their noses the whole time.
“Woohyun hyung.” Sungyeol called to get his attention and both fighters stopped. Woohyun looked at me with a cold look and I just looked back into his eyes unfazed. The more hatred they shot at me, the easier it was for me to forget the fake relationship we came up with.
He ran a hand through his hair and I found myself tracing my eyes over his face. Did I miss him?
We entered the room with training mats again. But this time, it was Woohyun who was at his peak condition. I was still recovering from Hoya. Woohyun made the first move. He grabbed my arm and flipped me over his shoulder, but I used my hand to stop my fall and flip upright.
He didn’t hesitate and he threw a couple of punches at me and I grabbed his wrists and turned them away and kicked out. He twisted at the last second and I only caught his hip instead of his stomach.
He grunted in pain and he switched his hold to take my wrist and bend it painfully behind me. I gritted my teeth against the pain and brought my leg up to kicked him but he used his own leg to knock my kick aside and because of the position we were in, he kneed me in the back of my thigh and my leg buckled. He must’ve thought that he had won in less then five minutes.
I let out a huff and twisted in his grip, despite the pain that felt like my shoulder was going to get dislocated and swung my elbow into his chest. He coughed in pain and in that second of lost concentration, he lost his grip on me and I moved out of his reach.
“Tell me something.” He said his breathing a bit quicker than before. I panted too. “Why did you do it?” he asked and I knew that he was talking about the bullets.
“It happened already, why are you so hung up on it?” I asked calmly. “Because I don’t want to owe you anything.” He said. “You don’t.” I answered right away. “You don’t understand, just because you say those words doesn’t mean I don’t still feel it.” he said and he came at me with a roundhouse kick. I blocked and threw him off. We circled each other.
“I can’t stop thinking about you.” He said and I felt my concentration slip and his followup kick caught me in the side I was already hurting from my rib injuries. I fell back and coughed. He seemed surprised he landed the hit too.
My jaw tightened. How could his words do that?
I got up but my side felt like it was on fire.
